All missile skills at level 5 or the ability to pilot each and every HAC/T2 Frig to peak performance?
In my case, it's for solo pirating. What would you pick,why, and what would you think be best for me?

Missile skills and Caldari HAC to Level 5.
Missiles are near useless on Amarr and Gallente; Minmatar are 50/50..
Buy a HAC and stick with it :).

Specialisation 4 teh win1.. Going to max out Amarr HAC skills, and get a pimped up Zealot. 
Flying other race HAC would be cool but i think being specialised in one races ships would be better.

That's pretty much the question i try to answer for myself almost every day 
Being able to fly different ships means fun but in the end you're better off with specialisation for one ship type. On the other hand the caldari hacs are not the best solo hacs out there...

hi first of all get the skills that u like need for perfekt flying a ship first then get a hac + spezialise more
i have trained 2 hac atm i like that alot but u have to choose whisely what hac u want cause u will stick to it quite a time befor affording to train for an other hac

Youre getting some bad answers.
Specializing in the wrong ship is worse than being profecient(spelling) in the right ship.
Of course specializing in the right ship is best of all.

Reason I'm asking is I will have a long break soon, so it's either Missile skills or all HACs + related skills to level 5 when I get back.

I'm a bit confused how you can see missile skills taking just as long as fully completing all HAC and T2 frigs training time, since at least one of them require good missile skills to pilot good. :)
But my advice would be, to think a little about what you would be wanting to play with when you return, would you be wanting to try out how the other new fancy T2 cruisers would handle solo pirating? or would you wow people in an effecient cerb/raven?
personally, i'd want to go for the effecient cerb/raven. :)

I think specialization is great but limits your options depending what region you are in. The arguement goes on and on, but it totally depends on you.
I chose to do as many races ship skill as possible to give me maximum flexibility.
