For the sake of fairness, a Cyclone without crystal implants, which I imagine would be 99.9999999999% of the people flying the ship, would "only" boost 321.4 shields for 30.6 energy, assuming maxed out skills.

Still, 2-3 of those, and a couple of hardeners (how many midslots does a cyclone have?) Tech II Autocannons, and a full rack of gyro II's.
