An ORE built cargo transport. Since ORE belongs to no race in particular there's only need for one ship design and it can have its own stats/etc.
The design is the size of a Retriever with the center removed and space placed for up to four (4) huge containers. (3900.00M3 Each) Now the containers can either be launchable/retrievable or they can be permanent which may be easier/less exploitable.
Modules: Speed: Cargo: S - 0 70-80 M/s 15600.00 M3 (Slightly larger than a maxed out Iteron V) M - 2 L - 0
Required Skills: (levels depend on ship size/how many/developers decision) (New) Ore Industrial lvl 1-5 Industry lvl 1-5 SpaceShip Command lvl 1-5 Science lvl 1-5 (?) Advanced Starship Command lvl 1-5
Shields, Hull, and Structure should be slightly better than that of a standard industrial ship. I'm not too keen on what "fair" would be with those numbers. Same with mineral requirements for building one.
Mostly this is like a Freighter, but it's ORE, it can pick up in space, and it's not as big or as slow.

I picture the requirements of race specific ships being due to language and style. In America we use Miles and Yards, in Euroland everything is in Kilometers and Meters. In England road signs are probably prodominately in English, I know they are in the US. While in France they are most likely in French. Cars in Europ have the driver side on the opposite side as cars in the US.
My point is, each race having it's own style of ship controls requiring pilots to learn the differnt styles to fly the ships effectively, makes sense to me. It doesn't force an Amarr to fly Amarr ships, but it does incurage it and so the game has it's style and flavor for each race without restricting players choice.
That was the setup, so now getting to the point...
I would argue that I believe ORE ships should have a RACE requirement just like all other ships. Why is it "Ore" ships work for all races, but all other ships can't work for all other races? (Without special training anyway.)
I was surprised when Ore Ships didn't need any racial skills. I feel Tech II mining ships should be racial specific.

good idea but we arleady have the mining barges that are sold by ORE - as for an industrial ship well mmm elite mining barges (t2) are coming in kali and they have larger cargo holds armour and hull. Making idea for deep space or longer mining solo ops
I believe 6000m3 is the base

not to start a whole America vs. everywhere thread. But I do believe the the US is the only place not on the metric system (ie: Kilometers and Meters).
now, back to the topic...

Maybe ORE ships require no special race based ship skill because it requires its on ORE based ship skill(minning barge). One can design a "standardized" or independent systems & controls platform that anyone(and any race) can learn and use. If you know how to fly, you know how to fly...only thing required to learn the specifics of the ship you want to fly(type rating in aviation real life terms).
