Will "Thie Five" adapt to where the game is going or remain steadfast in their desire to be a PvP-only alliance?

Thats part of factional warfare afaik. Where you sign up to be allowed to fight the other empires. Only other people involved in factional warfare will be allowed to challenge it, and probably systems changing hands would involve alot of aurora involvement.

The 5 can't understand that there can be other reasons to declare war for NBSI, PA & F-E other than that they think the 5 is dying. I've read alot of posts about this great empire war and the ones talking about the 5 being dead or not is the 5 themselves.
Is it so hard to believe that NBSI, PA and F-E did this for the challange or just for fun? Leaders need to do these actions or else they will lose their pvpers and get an alliance that can't defend themselves.
