The world where everything is brand new not looks to healthy. WHen we had tiers, we had all kinds of ships, good and bad, that were mostly like from different times. Now they're +- equal and this seems.. Boring?..
What I suggest: adding 1-2 racial ships for each size without (or with minimal) skill requirements with seriously decreased stats, without rig slots (like noob ships) etc.
What I think it's going to turn into: trial accounts would be able to try all sizes (especially if you decrease prereq for large guns, what is unnecessary though), and a more... realistic?.. look for the whole universe. These ships won't make too much difference in anything, and just be nice things like the Gnosis you gave us once. |

When was the last time you saw anyone driving a horseless carriage or cycling along on their Penny Farthing? There's a reason the game isn't full of old ships. It's because they're a waste of space. Tiericide is a wonderful thing, long live the new Prophecy \o/ |

Don't be extremist. You'd better compare Dodge Charger "70 and its current version. Yes, the current one is better. And yes, there are a few "70s left.
P. S. I flew prohecy before and approve it's better now, but I really hate the idea of all equal ships. With such progression in 2020 we'll have frigates, cruisers, battleships and carriers beating each other in duel and costing exactly the same with only difference in the way they do so. |

All ships are certainly not equal, tiericide or not. There are still ships that are, for now better way to put it, horrid at certain things, which others are rather good at, price and tech level considered. What point would there be in putting crap ships in game that will never see the light of day barring the few people that would fly them for the Lol factor? I mean, we already have the Bellicose for that.
