I've been thinking for a couple of days now and came up with an idea. As a missile user my self I was pretty down in the dumps when i couldn't obliterate small ships with my big missiles so I did some research and found out about the nerf on missiles and the their tagets sig radius. I've ranted and raved on the message boards about this. So here is my idea.
Implament a new modual called electronic counter measure. Based off of RL veiw point on missiles. That each and every targeted missile has a Margin of Error. Wheter its laser guided or heat seeking I don't know what type ccp uses. But Ships in RL have a counter measure system of some type being used to defend agains missiles. If these counter measure systems don't work right then the missile usually hits its target and boom fried pilot. But missiles in eve have a massive reduction to dmg against smaller targets due to their sig radius and thier speed. So I say unnerf the nerf and use this new modual instead.
Description: electronic counter measure used in disrupting the missiles targeting computer. Causeing the missile to fly off path and detonate a safe distance away from the ship.
Now I know what your saying right now how dose the differ from the nerf. Well one the missile has a chance to hit now just like other weapons. Two if the missile dose hit it will do full damage after the resistance are calculated. Three the missile dosen't have to fly off path it could just recognize the person that launched it as its target and hit.
Of course there will be skills to make this modula work more effeciant. Possibly with max skills each modula could have a 50% chance to disrupt missiles. (Again these are just numbers being used as an example.) And there is only one type of modual that fits all ships so it dosen't favor anyone. And they don't stack so BS pilots can't fly with 8 of them on and be completely invincble to missiles.
I don't want to get burned about this. This is just my idea it works for everyone. Post your ideas and comments and suggestiions.

What is wrong with how they have it now? How is the "nerf" of big missles and small ships any differnt than how hard it is for you to track a frigate with a large gun?
Big missles have slow turn radiuses, and in theory, a larger margin of error for exploding. As such, a direct hit on a battleship could end up being a near miss against a destroyer.
It makes sense to me as they have it.

Any weapon will miss due to its trackin speed. But a laser dose not seek its target, A hybrid shot dose not seek its target, and a projectil shot dosen't not seek its target. A missile dose how ever it seeks its target out during its life span. But a missile can miss like a laser, hybrid, or projectil shot. A missile will miss becuase its just ran out of fule and a last desprate attempt it detonates and hopefuly it will hit its intended target but thats usually not the case cause the target is always moving and not stationary. Or it could have overshot the target resulting in a dud missile. We don't have that in eve tho the missile is always hit. And because of that I think is the reason why they maid the sig radius and the targets speed all factors in why it dosen't do the damage that they use to do. But then in a sense it makes most missile using ships obsolute. And again this was just my idea i just wanted to see who would take to it and who would not take to it so your comments and suggestions are welcome but please keep your ranting to yourself.
