Heh nice, slap across the face to all the whiners. This should make it easy to spot the difference between 'industrialist' and 'carebear'.
Perpetually driven, your end is our beginning.

First of all i would like to thank you guys for the good luck wishes ... something tells me that we will certainly need lots of it.
This wasn¦t an easy decision for us to make. Everybody knows that alliances and business don¦t allways work well together, and my corp. never would have thought about it ...normally.
Well, it¦s very easy in fact. Adapt and do your best, or don¦t do it at all. Those were our options for the near future. There is no question that it¦s not going to be easy but we never did something because it¦s easy.
There¦s no intention to take a region , we¦re not territorial orientated. This would collide with our believes and it also isn¦t necessary, with one small exception. The "NextGen" production concept makes is necessary to take control over at least one 0,0 system and use it as a production base. This is definitely something we will do in the near future. We will build an Outpost in that system and open it to the public.
Rod, our activity as an alliance in 0,0 will have only one purpose - to protect our belongings and provide a safe trade and production environment for ourselves and all other people in that sector. We hope to create something similar ISS is doing with their Outpost in catch.
Parmizan, choosing a name for the alliance wasn¦t easy. We were looking for something new and unusual , something that hasn¦t anything to do with that boring stuff we¦re doing all day long "The Big Blue" can be associated with many things ..... i¦m sure, by using your imagination , you will find some of them.
Kathred, actually we wanted to ask you to join us, but then i remembered that you¦re on your very own Pinky & Brain trip, and who are we to stand in your way - good luck to you .

Why not just join ISS?
Surely u would both profit from that and u would alredy have 00 access and a navy
Sureley this would make more sense, politically and normality wise

I have to add that this is really a happy day for us all. We have the opportunity to take the alliance idea on a new level. Not based on territorial claims or allying against an enemy, but to give all the trade powerhorses and peaceful players a new, secure home.
For alliances in eve, this is the 3rd chapter. The first was the inofficial 0.0 alliances (SA/CA war), the second was the POS and empire war alliances.
good to see u again conram , GL to you all.

Dammit, why do I decide to have my first holiday in 4 years when this kind of thing gets announced
Oh well, I'm looking forward to some very entertaining conversations in alliance chat. Freewheeling, open up a crate of quafe, it's time to party and we have a whole bunch of uni students to get drunk and play pranks on -----------

best of luck on the new Alliance.
I been supplied by Freewheeling for almost 2 years on named bits and peices, and always been given the finest service, be it for a t1 module or a T2 ship. This is how trading is meant to be. fact.
someone mentioned they'll get war dec'd. I can't really see that happening apart from idiots trying to cash in, and most senior guys in this alliance have been playing since beta, so don't expect to get too much loot. Anyways, most wars are territorial in nature, and they already stated this alliance is not territorial
Keep an eye on these fellas, they'll be an industrial powerhourse soon enough.

Politically neutral and non-territorial eh? Valuable principles, neutrality and respect etc.?
SO!; not just an appeal to be left alone to make obscene amounts of ISK then?
We'll see how long you can stay neutral once the pirates and other vultures start circling.
Personally I applaud your initiative, but I don't think that the nature of the EVE community will allow you to remain neutral. Some will see your post as a challenge and I'm sure they will do everything they can to upset your apple cart. At the very least, you will be stepping on the toes of any corp/alliance with a significant manafacturing base and you know how reasonable folk here are about competition of any sort.
It is extremely difficult for even the smallest corp to stay neutral. At some point you guys will have to pick a side. I just hope that when that moment comes you stick with the "most profound and honourable prinziples a human beeing is capable of", rather than chasing ISK signs as I suspect may be the case.
Time will tell. Good luck guys, you are going to need it. ============================ Everything you know is wrong ============================ |

Why should we deny it. "Let us alone, let us do our thing like we let all others do their thing ", perfectly describes what political neutrality is all about . Defending against pirate attacks or other threats does not collide with this principle. So, yes. If a pirate organisation decides to attack us or our property , politics has nothing to do with it and neither does our respond. That would just be a criminal act which had to be dealt with ...
Talking about stepping on someone¦s toes .... We¦re into T2 production since it has been introduced and never had problems with our competition. Now, if a competitor would decide that the time has come to change this , then i doubt very much it would happen because we "stepped on his toes". Forming an alliance isn¦t going to change our corp. policy in any way - no, in fact , we even carved it onto our alliance agenda . No, if somebody really wants to give it a try and harm us, then he¦s doing it without any substantial reason and this might trigger a reaction he/she will find very hard to handle.
Yes, we do know that EVE is like a big sandbox for us bigger and smaller kids to play in. But we made the experience that 99% of EVE¦s inhabitants have a brain - and they¦re making use of it We always treated others like we want to be treated, and i have to say that this is still the best way to avaid unnecessary conflicts.

I thought that very same thing, get BIG and Xanadu in there (BIG, give up the FA ghost, it's over), working in conjunction you would easily have a t2 market monopoly. Sucks for the little guy, but hey, Bill Gates sleeps quite well I suspect.

Best of luck to all involved in this new endeavor, one to watch for sure, considering those involved it can only benefit the EVE community.
Regarding war decs, yeah, bound to happen I guess, but hey, see the positive. Operating out of 0.0 space means all those nice customers picking up there T2 kitted HAC's, just point them at the free targets on the way out!
