Hi all,
I'm curious if any of the current players or corps in EVE were in the game Jumpgate. Just wondering if any old enemies/friends transferred to EVE. If so, are there any current EVE corps full of old Jumpgate players (all 500 of us). Thanks.

Nomad Dwarfers are all of us that came from Red Dwarfers in JG. There are other corps here too such as our good pals MA. |

SAc (Space Academy) was/is a JG Squad devoted to mentor new players into the game in EU.
A few (very few) of us came to Eve and are in SAC Inc. We havent decided what SAC means here in Eve.

Octavian Vanguard (OV). We are somewhat scattered in Eve though.
Schani & AkimBO in MA.
Asandir (dunno what corp he is in).
Mal (bug hunter)
Slam (BIG).
Actually I think MA is Merchant Alliance from JG, so they might have a lot of ex JG's

I still play jumpgate as a quant now when i get too tired of the bugs in eve and need a change of scene .
My wife (7) still plays but refuses to be dragged over to eve and its point a click interface . ( she loves the stick ) .

Played JG for 2 years as GenTesla of the Red Dwarfers erm now NJ GenTesla in fact so not a lot changes, our beer is a bit colder, the sheep a bit more wooly and Sids cooking is still damn awful :-)

Flew since early retail, started with 'netburnrol' in OSP, Wild Geese, OEC. Also known as {Gotcha} from TDP and EoR.

Wow, seems that there are a decent number of people from Jumpgate. I played US beta and retail for about 6 months as Apollo--was in Jade/Therapists/Gargamel etc. Nice to see all the familiar names in EVE.

=RG= was in both US and UK servers, although i never personally played either...
in fact, only one of our EVE-members is from the JG division (they're wierd sods!)
but i think the Royal Guard still trucks around in JG...

Played as Mix in Jumpgate retail, January 2002 through to August 2002. I was in The Hand initially, later moved to OAS, and then finally -=G-O-D=-...
I doubt anyone recognizes me though... :)

Ive tried to make as much contact with as many people as people from the JG servers as possible.
I dont know if any of you on the US server remember DragonIce but i was in that sqd on the EU server before it disbanded and i formed FURY.
I now find myself on this game (awsome as it is) with a few old EU server players
We have:
Me (Nova) (Novah in eve)
Lenier (Leniera in Eve)
Jacko_39 (Gimmeelots in Eve)
Jaakar (G kar in Eve)
All Join channel JGVET reguarly for a mass reunion
Im still planning to get more and more people over into Eve from FURY (Psychonem and Shaggy) though i need to do this before my account expired on jg (10/10/03)

I played jumpgate as well!
I was Razage in beta and then I forgot the password to the account, so when I came back much later, I was Zantican. Both times I was in Q.U.I.T.

Takumi, I'm regretting that I didn't choose Amarr, could be in PIE then. Truely reminding me of OV/OEC (as well as all the other factionalists) - they seem to have ideals to fight for, which is fun, creates depth and keeps things interesting.
So, we have the channels JGVET (still used?) and Nrjd. Are there any others?
Hell, the thread's quite old anyway, wouldn't surprise me if jgvet isn't used anymore.

Also was MrPancakes and Bonsai and sometimes Oober :P. Instead toasting the EEA in JG have chosen Stain as my target :) this time. Just yesterday my corpmate and I toasted 1 bship, 2 cruisers and 5 indys.
