I got a pretty important ss atm and im wondering how safe it is. It's far further away than 48au from any object and it's not in-line between any objects. Is it possible the ss gets *****ed atm?

There is no safety this side of the grave. In Eve and, unfortunately, real life as well.

...or derivative of old system map bookmarks (which can be away from the planetery plane and thus sometimes unfindable with probes)

1 AU = 150,000,000 km. Good luck going 7.2 billion KM by just flying in a random direction. Even if you were in a ship that can go 7k/sec indefinatly it would take about 285.6 hours. I think you meant "hybernate" instead of sleep
Someone would have to be logging into your char and trying to figure out which direction to resume flying since server goes down at least once a day... ---

Correction: (7.2 billion km) / (7 (km / s)) = 32.5941579 years according to Google - Proud member of the [23].

I was thinking "Wow, doesent take as long to travel 1 AU as I thought. Thats strange." Then I realized I made the calculate for 7000 KM/S and not 7000 M/S :)
Yep, 32 years. Good luck. ---

I dont see how it could. No complicated math here or anything. How could that even be something people argue about? 1,000,000,000. 9 zeros, no? Or is it some sort of a trick question, like "LOL NO A BILLI0N ONLY HAS 1 ZERO, billi*0*n!" (Or zero zero's if you spell it with an o). ---

Yes, upon quickly reading the situation I knew the answer should have been in years. I fully understand how HUGE 1 solar system is. I just made a simple mistake with my number (7000km/s instead of 7000m/s) and put too much trust in my calculator. Even so, I thought the answer seemed very strange and I even reworked it once, but then gave up simply because this is not a test so why worry myself over it? ---

Just to clarify: In the olden days a billion used to be 1 000 000 000 000 (a million million). Hardly ever anymore, so lets not worry about it!

If true, a very acceptable and concise answer to "How many 0's are in a billion?" Would be "Modern standard, 9. Previous standard, 12." ---

If I am correct, the only TRUE safe spots are those created outside the grid, which you cannot make anymore so you have to find someone who has one in the system you are in...

You are not correct.
There is no safe spot that cannot be busted.
(I have one 198 AU off grid)
