just seen a report in the german TV-show "neues" (3sat) about eve-online..
about the game and even pictures from the fanfest.. lol
all in all about 10minutes! .. good PR - congrats :)
nice to see u doing some AD/PR-stuff...

oooh television promotion this has to surley be good - i see another influx of german players coming in (if only the aussie tv shows and mags would pick up on it) contacted Aussie PC user about putting eve in their mag next month - response yet none

DO they have the magazine PC Gamer in Australia? If so, try them as the UK PC Gamer seems to love EVE and alwyas has stuff in about it.

nah australia - all they cover is WOW stories - ive emailed them for the last 6 months to cover eve but as of yet no response no stories nothing

I've done the same in Australia .... apparently Eve just doesn't get anough Aussies playing it to be newsworthy.
Bit of a shame ... I would love to see more fellow Aussies playing to round out the playe population a little

nobody watches 3sat, probably old people (60+) which are semi-dead do.

lol.. yea not many kids watch 3sat, ur right - although this show is broadcasted on other channels too i think, nevertheless its not a gaming-show and the target group is mid-age-like - but thats fine for eve anyway ;)

I think you need to get a reviewer of said magazine to play the game and then love it so much that they start a certain eve magazine.

CCP should start pestering the BBC the amount of publicity WOW get on the news section of the BBC website is incredible...EVE should try find a way to tap into it to.

the Article on the channels website but of course it's in german. (from the program of the 29th)
I looked on the programs page and atm you can watch the program from the 22nd. So I guess in a week we'll be able to see the coverage online (I missed it aswell).
PS this is the link where the webcast of the show of the 29th probably will be.
