 Hi there,
I have at last found a good set-up for my apocalypse but does anyone have ideas on how to make it cope with level 4 missions? What should I change, I am training for T2 lasers will this make a HUGE difference or should I train something else?
Current set-up:
High:
4x large beam lasers (best i can buy)
2x Cruise launchers (for stripping shields)
1x 426mm rail gun (for frigs)
1x 150mm rail gun (for very close range)
Med Slots:
1x tracking computer
3x cap recharges
Low:
1x Large Armour repair
2x 1600mm Armour extenders (6,400hp more)
1x ballistic computer
2x cap recharges
2x Diagnostics systems
With that i can have the large repair on almost forever.
The cap takes 280 sec to recharge
Its a good set-up but i don't think it will cope with level 4 missions... what damage do the NPC fire, i would guess thermal and EM....
Any help would be great!

Mate, i'm sorry to break the news to you, but that setup really blows :(.
it's a really long time since i've npc'ed, but this is what i used!
6 X Mega Pulse Laser II's (or lower)!
2 x Medium beams, or Faction smartbombs (( Range 7500m )! (if you are using the SB, don't let loose the drone, if not drones and small guns 4tw.!!!)
4 X Cap Recharger II's (or with an AB if needed in the missions, due to that some rats orbit at long range!)
2 X Large Armor Reps (Named Or Tech II)
3 X Armor Hardners (Npc Type Depending )
2 X Cap Power Relays (these will allow insane armor tanking!)
What rats are you up against?

Rofl Bradston your setup is horrible. I could kill that in a tech 1 frigate almost :D
For 0.0 NPCING i use:
7 Megapulse tech2, 1 5km Smartbomb
4 cap rechargers 2
2 Large Armor repairers tech2(I can run them forever), 3-4 HArdeners, 1-2 Cap Relay.
15 Medium drones if frigates are outside smartbomb range.

i hate smart bombs! i killed a friend with one... LOL!!!!
i guess i will be taking the whole of the fitting out tonight!

try
6 megabeams, 2 med pulse
100ab, sensorbooster, 2 track computers
1 lrg armor rep, 3 armor hardeners, 1 cap relay, 2 heatsinks

Please read the suggested setups.
WTF? Lasers do em dmg and now you want cruise missiles to "strip shields"?
The insanity...
