I have been reviewing the stats of Gall Industirals. It seems to me that the ship stats from a Iteron 1 to Iteron 4 are unblanced and wrong. Especially from 3 to 4.

The cargo deltas are ok (+250 fro 3 to 4? is ok) But the armor, struct, shield, and cap look wrong. slots are ok - I guess - power is also questionable. I can imagine some of these deltas from 3 to 4 being what u wanted - but frankly all of them together make me think you have got something wrong here.

You didn't consider price or skill training time. I kinda like the fact it's not a straight linear progression. It's kinda like when the engineers were making the MK4 they were trying to make an economic model. If you think of cars as an analogy each new facelift doesn't make the car better in all aspects or we'd have honda civics performing like ferraris.

Ya know, the American Sherman tank was kind of a joke when the enemy saw one on the field. The German infantry didn't laugh as much when they saw twenty out there.
Economical.
I like the fact that the 4 sucks also.

I sat and compared the stats as well. Decided to buy a Mk3 instead of a MK4 and then go for a MK5 when I get the skills.

Ok - we agree they are bad stats - just a good price for what you get? Well I think that is mistake. I hope CCP corrects this - if they are listening. (Probably have other things to worry about!)

I bought the Iteron Mark 4. I thought it was okay until i saw the comparisson to all of the other industrials. The Bestower blows it out of the water and it is L1 and Mk3 is almost just as good if not better.
I would complain but i didn't do any research when i bought it. Just saw a number 3 and a number 4 and said "Hey this number 4 and it is cheaper so it must be better"
I have since changed my mind and do much more research before purchases but still have to stare the Mark 4 in the eye every day

i'm using an MK4 until i can get into an MK5. sure it takes longer to train to i then the bestower, but it has more armor and shields then most other indys. i think it's worth the wait if you've got multiple aco****s.

I really like my MKIV. Like most people I thought that it would be a bad move to change up from my trusty MKIII, however I thought I would give it a go just for the extra little bit of cargo space.
The advantage I have found is that it seems to have much more agility than the MKIII and therefore is better for ore pick ups.
Is there anywhere that agility is rated for ships?
