ALTNAME	Posted - 2005.11.02 22:49:00 - [1] You heard me, CCP is a bunch of morons that love to protect their pet classes Currently I have the worst ship in the game, for its class, the Raven, oh sure it is easy, of course it is, because it is crap. 12 Damage on a frigate, crap drone capacity, huge sig radius. My alt has an armageddon, and I tried Tachyon beams, and they not only rule, but rule smaller ships. It is quite shameful in my opinion. currently I am ranting on the forum, due to the fact that theire are 6 count them 6 entrances into 0.0 with ALL of the space following it completely empty. 2 of the entrances, the ones closest to me are being camped nightly, so I must remain in empire. The concept of solo gaming is foreign to ccp. So you are 'supposed' to join a corporation, hmmm, for what to be the slave of those keeping 0.0 for themselves, by exploiting the idiocy of ccp and their ridiculous goons? I prefer my own 5 member corporation, however we all do are own thing, some are intesrested more in mining, others missions, I cannot very well tell them all hey come with me so I can get into 0.0 to make more money than the stupid missions, and guess what maybe we will all lose our ships to ships 1 tenth our cost, and 1/5th the cost to fit tech 2 mods, hurray!

ALTNAME	Posted - 2005.11.02 22:53:00 - [4] Rockets on a raven, yah sure, why should I when they use light missiles which do 4 times the rockets damage against me? oh and the range on rockets is worse than complete crap they dont even do what they promised. And the point constantly is not that a Raven cant take on an interceptor, neutralizers and any type of small turret will take care of them, but what will a turret do against battleships. The burden has always been on the defender to fit their setup, never on the tackler or offender to alter theirs. The result is that those that have tired of missions, and have too much money to do anything else with settle into the easiest profession, mechanically, the tackler.

Of course player skills are important but surely you cannot ignore the fact of the skill points. There is not much sense in denying the fact that for paying CCP for 10 months longer you are a better pilot.

Think the point is if the 15M skillpoint pilot is a bit silly, or the 2M skill pilot has a setup which is the perfect counter to his ship, he probably has a chance of winning. DPS Sheet

Then with a tank you should be able to fend off a few frigs. Well, if they are packing EW then your screwed. Personally, they should make them sized based (EW That is) so a frig can't jam as well as a BS. At least make ECCM actually work.
