this is absolutely garbage, I was going to hold my tongue about the hole two days of not being able to play bs because it wasn't a big problem , but now youre interfering with my game, trying to enjoy myself in the middle of a big ass fleet fight and im getting my socket closed and failing to authenticate .

I'm having the same issue too - socket dropped, now stuck at authenticating. Even after a reboot. Sigh - my patience weareth thin.

Normally? I wouldn't care too much. But speaking generally, we pay to play a game -- not to petition and try to log in constantly.

I ran repair on my client and it had missing blocks, It replaced the missing blocks and now as the launcher starts it begins validating, and its doing so very very very slowly.

Your accounts that are "stuck authenticating" actually are still :"logged in". Your ships will be in space where you "logged off". I see my character sitting in space on my tengu. IT HAS BEEN LOGGED OFF FOR 2 hours.

FILE STUCK PETITIONS NOW or you will lose your ships if you logged somewhere hostile.

There is no reason to run a repair. We tried multiple clients on the same frozen account and witnessed the same behavior.

Don't wreck your client trying to fix something that is not a client issue.

If maintaining a massive server to run an MMO like EVE were easy..dont you think a lot more people would be doing it? Stop complaining, post your issues, be constructive and wait. CCP will work it out in due time. I'd rather them take the servers down for as long as needed to fix these issues instead of trying to appease angry ppl and have them persist.

Ok this is not funny anymore my other toon just lost his ratting ship in space, friend did a D-scan and he is in his pod. :(

So thanks to this awesome problemHappy fun time that CCP will not acknowledge I lost mah ship . Was sitting off a gate waiting for some targets to show up that had NPC rats at it, when I was kicked off game thanks to socket closed an act of god the NPC rats locked me down and a random player who just happened to be around landed 1 shot on me for a free kill. Got my pod too because I was unable to connect for a couple hours.

lol...so you were sitting, gate camping with your exposed back, waiting for easy targets and now you are ranting about it?
