I am currently flying towards a star at a healthy 2kms. Do I have to get to 0km or will I bounce off sometime before that?

Try as you may, you will never arrive.

Yes you will bounce off at some point... if you scanprobe something that happens to be on the sun and you warp to it, you will bounce off massively at like 1m km/s - Proud member of the [23].

Just keep in mind that at 2km/s your rate of travel is approximately 1AU/7.5 years --------------------------------------------------------------------- Everyone should read the EVE Tracking Guide. |

More like (1 AU) / (2 (km / s)) = 2.37028791 years according to google.
But if I remember, you warp in about 500,000km from a star, so thats only (500 000 km) / (2 (km / s)) = 2.89351852 days. - Proud member of the [23].

Oops, random multiples in equations 4tl
I think I got mixed up from another thread with 3AU probes and 10km/s and weird stuff. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Everyone should read the EVE Tracking Guide. |

Silly, just make a wish on it , don't bounce off it.

No, no, you swing on it.
Here's a jar; carry some moonbeams home while you're at it.

This takes some practice and a few trys, but you can try to warp to the sun from somthing that takes you through the sun to get to the warp out point and for the half a second that your in or close to the sun drop a Bookmark. With any luck you will only be a few km from the sun and can just fly over to it =). _______________________________________________ Member - [CHRST] Christian Fellowship Foundation
