im gallente and the more gallente missions i do, i get negative standings with the caldari state. if the status with caldari gets low enough, will caldari cops shoot me? if so, what can i do to increase standing with the caldari state if im gallente?

At -5 you will be KOS yes. Diplomacy skill will help. - Proud member of the [23].

Provided your Caldari rating didn't get TOO low, you can run some missions for them as well. The boost you get towards a faction by working for them, is bigger than the hit you take from their enemy faction, so by doing both, you'll get positive standings in both empires, it'll just take longer.
Or you could resign yourself to not going to Caldari space. It's not like the galaxy is too small and you'll simply HAVE to one day.

To expound on the topics question, what about just being largely negetive to member corps? For instance after doing a few Sansha missions I'm at neg 2.71 for Ammatar Fleet but only neg .57 to Ammatar itself. Which one matters when determining KoSness (I'd assume faction, not corp?).

So true. Plus you'll have to go the long way around if you want to go to the northern 0.0 regions. ---

Just look in corporation tab for agents. It takes a lot of missions to get KOS. I've done enough missions to get over 9 with 3 Caldari corporations, and with the State faction, and my Gallente is still like -3. Only -2.something with the diplo skill to level 2. So you probably ahve a lot of missions to do before it should worry you.
That being said, it can screw you for being able to do missions for the factions you have ****ed off in the future. I'll pretty much never be doing missions for the Gallente Navy for example. ------------------ Silver Night Director -Production and Science Help the State, Make tens of millions! The Summit |

Look up the faction in PnP. It will have a tab for member corps. Then you look under Agents for each corp in Show Info.
