im not sure if this is the right section but anyway whut damage types do amarr sentrys do .4 ones and whut would be a good setup for my raven to tank those sentrys. oooh and plz dont flame

i've never tanked sentry guns myself and i have no way of confirming this, but if they're Amarr sentries then the obvious answer seems to be: tank for EM and Thermal damage, afaik Amarr = Lasers. Lasers = EM and Thermal damage.

All sentry guns do all types of damage.

are you serious? all damage types? hell, i would have thought it was racial. Ok i stand corrected, tank for everything.
Check the sticky at the top of this forum for raven setups.

yea i looked at the invul raven setup and tehre is no possible way i can run taht without a logistics and im in a 2 man corp other person has a domi so was wantin a tank to solo sentrys but i will mess around with a setup. thanks for the help guys

Mids:
4x Active hardners (all 4 damage types)
1x XL Shield Booster (preferably tech II)
1x Shield Boost amp OR 1x cap booster with 800 charges (if you have cap problems or you need to run the booster for a long time)
Highs: Torps
Lows: Damage mods

Sentries dont do that much damage. The secret is dont tank them forever but only tank them aslon as you need to. Im sure in my megathron with a couple of plates i could nuke a BS then warp before the sentries get into structure.

here it is, ccp's lazy sekrit:
ALL sentries are the same.
an amarr sentry III is the same as a caldari sentry II, or a minmatar sentry I or whatever
they all do all 4 damage types, with more than 2/3 of their damage as thermal and kinetic
make me a sig! Now 75mil of prizes!
