I have been calm on this, but I slowly get mad. I know it is against the rules to discuss and post GM stuff, so please point me to someone I can contact in order to complain about the GMs or give me someone who can explain me the security rating hits outside of the empire space. The GM service needs some improvement and I can't get any reliable information out of them.
Mods, feel free to lock this post.
Here is what I got:
The same rules for security hits apply absolutely anywhere in the EVE universe. The only difference is that outside Empire space you won't be actively hunted down by CONCORD and the Empire forces - but you'll still be considered a criminal.
---
By checking your log I saw that you were killing players as well as pirates. The difference being that you suffer a security hit from killing players (no matter where you are located) but the pirates are a different story on the other hand. Hope that clears this up.
---
You are correct. There have been some troubles with security hits and their mechanism. However, the answer to your initial question, that is you suddenly lost security status is that players are able to rais or lower their personal standing towards another players and that affects his security status. Now, we are not able to see what the status was at the time you first sent in your question but apparently alot of players have set their standing towards you to a -10.0 and that is very likely to have caused your sudden drop.
If you need further assistance, please don't hesitate to contact us again. We'll do all we can to help.
---
You are correct about the personal standing. That was my error. That does not have any affect of the security status of players. And again I have to admit my mistake. You are correct about the 0.0 systems not giving security hits. The error of that comments is on my end as well.
Now, IŠm however unable to elevate your security standing despite all my previous errors as IŠm unable to track changes in security changes yet. IŠm there fore unable to restore your previous settings.
---
I would hate to confuse matters further but there seems to still be some ambiguity regarding the sec hits in 0.0 when killing PCs. To the best of my knowledge it is the norm for players to drop in these cases and everyone who doesnŠt is benifitting from a glitch. Nevertheless it is the fact that we are as of yet, still unable to see what your security rating looked like before you contacted us that makes it impossible for us to make any changes. Your description of how these events unfolded sounds very plausible but without verification we can not help you. Our sincere apologies for this, I wish we will be able to be of more service to you in the future.
---
Sorry for the late reply.
We apologize for all the inconvenience this has caused you. We assure you that we will do our best to assist you in the future as we are always trying to do our best. Unfortunetly we are not able to help you in this case. We have forwarded your case details to CCP and they will no doubt take it into consideration when fixing the gameplay and the game mechanics further.
If you need further assistance, please don't hesitate to contact us again. We'll do all we can to help.
---
Sorry for the late reply. Are you still having problems with your security rating?
---
It is possible to lose security status in some 0.0 sec systems that are very close to empire space so in this case it's not really broken.
If you need further assistance, please don't hesitate to contact us again. We'll do all we can to help.

Some 0.0 systems are part of empire controlled regions although the police doesnŠt go in there. Part of being a pirate is finding out where it is safe to kill and where it isnŠt. I wish you good luck with killing people in 1.0 but i am sure the police will have no problem blwoing you up if you step out of line in there. Thank you.

Molly.
Quit *****in'
You know these bugs are in the game.
You know the GM's either don't have the tools to help you or don't care.
You know it will be fixed once CCP gets around to it.
You know there is nothing you can do about it.
Molly.

1. GMs arent Devs. 2. GMs cant acess logs of everything. 3. You dont pay enough to pay a GM full time for wipeing your butt. Leave the poor GMs alone. Their overdone as is, they dont need you harassing them.

I got my Security Status back (0.7 to 1.0) when I petitioned that I had lost it in non-empire space. The GM confirmed that I had lost the secuirty status in non-empire space and that it was a bug, and he gave me back my sec points.
Molly was in non-empire space when she lost her sec status too, but I guess she ran into a hard-ass GM :/ If reimbursment policies change from GM to GM that sucks. -

Molly,
We only see the GM's replies.
Once more a pirate is reduced to giving only one side of the story.

Why are you so bothered about sec rating loss?
I thought the elusive -10.0 would give you kudos.
You're starting to become a real forum bore. Quit whining and try something else that isn't bugged.

Yeah Its pretty damned upsetting the ambiguity that goes on round here. I found an article in CCPs own support page that specifically stated that 0.0 space was no-mans land and no sec hits occured out there.
When I petitioned my security status hit and pointed this article out, their reaction was to change the article so that it is now very difficult to understand anything written in it. Do a search for security.... its the first article that comes up. Youll see, it has been updates recently....
