yeah I started getting "I HAUE MNS OKAXEA" It's like he left out J or K somewhere in there and that messed up the table

I think somewhere in column B he skipped a letter, so that L-Z are shifted back 1.
He used a 5x5 matrix (there are no F or 6 codes), so that's 25 letters, English alphabet has 26. He skipped a letter he didn't need. Probably J or K. |

This would translate to:

and not
