Do you feel your opinion matters on what they do in their business? Are you both invested mentally and financially in CCP Games, Eve, and Dust? Then let your voice be heard! If you're like me, you're not a very happy customer right now. CCP has gone ahead and hired one of the worst representatives possible, for reasons unknown to the community. But wait a second, shouldnGÇÖt a public representative be one of the players? One everyone likes, and one whom everyone feels confident in their abilities to represent the playerbase to game designers? All of these things are very lacking in CCP MintChipGÇÖs proven track record. A simple Google image search of her chosen in-game name will show you the kind of representative she is. Of course, CCP is free to hire whomever they want and do whatever they want with their games, just as I am free to choose to pay for those services, or in the case of Dust, play and be a public outlet to other people I network with about how wonderful these two games are. But of course, I am also free to stop that. So, upon the conclusion of this post I will be unsubbing 5 Eve accounts, and will never be playing Dust again, nor will I speak highly of Dust in the future. Why should I, when they select our public representatives for us? IsnGÇÖt that what the Dust version of the CSM is for? But wait, you arenGÇÖt giving her a chance! She isnGÇÖt as bad as everyone says she is! Lets take a look at her past record. CCP MintChip has: 1) Publicly stated she quit Eve, and more so publicly advertises how much she dislikes the game and its player base, the cornerstones of CCP Games and the lifeblood of their company -- and if CCP was truthful about their future vision for Eve and Dust, the two will be linked on a level unrivaled by any other game. If she isnGÇÖt the attention ***** people claim she is, why would she post on a game thread she has nothing to do with other then she was hired by the same people the designed both games. If you have learned anything over the years CCP, it should be not to ignore your player base when they make it very clear how they feel, and to think and be transparent before you act, or risk making situations worse. Join me and speak up if you feel the same way, or will do something like myself to show CCP how unhappy you are. Money speaks louder than words. GÇ£XGÇ¥ -5 eve subs, and Dust player If ccp is to perma ban me from the forums or remove/lock this thread then so be it, doesn't change how myself or others feel about this.
