Are these ever gonna show?
Just finished lvl5 of all SCOT (xcept charisma which I'll leave at lvl3) and I'm now just waiting for elite skills.
My attibs are now perc. 23, intell and will 20, char. and mem 17, with +1 implants to all (xcept charisma again). I wish i had less char. or even will and more memory and maybe intell, but i'm happy as is it now anyway. Still, +4 or +5 to them all would be great.
I know I'm a nerd/maniac/freak etc., but my oroginal question stands? Are elite skills coming? When? (if ever).

I doubt CCP as any plan on releasing more learning skills... but i think it would be a good thing "IF" they aren't expensive, so relatively new players wouldn't have a hard time buying them
Having new learning skills would mainly have one purpose, it would be to help newer player to lower the gap in SP between them and older players
Ex: lets say you only have basic learning skill the 1st year, you get advanced learning skills for the 2nd year and you get elite learning skills for the 3rd year
If you get 10m sp in the 1st year, 15m sp in the 2nd year and 20m sp in the 3rd year, you'll have 45m sp in 3 years of training
A player beginning on the 2nd year and maxing its learning skill would get 15m sp for its 1st year of playing and 20m sp for its 2nd year, so he would end up with 35m sp in 2 years of playing, he is 10m sp behind the older player which means that the older player only has ~30% more sp instead of 50% if the training time was constant (he would have 30m sp and the newer player would have 20m sp)
Now, lets say a player joined on the 3rd year and maxed his learning skill as soon as possible, he would get ~20m sp for 1 year of playing, that would be twice what the older player got from his 1st year of playing
But as i said before, these new learning skill need to be cheap to buy, cause if they are too expensive, only the rich (read old) players would be able to buy them and that would increase the gap in sp instead of lowering it

CCP has to my knowledge never made mention of them. I sure have, though. I want 'em bad.

would be nice to get another set of learning skill tbh
bah im one of the nubs that has got all the learning skills bar chrisma to lvl 5 (advanced ones), so PLEASEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE release one more set of learning skills :P

shame ccp haven't mentioned them. I think they should. Of course training the advanced to lvl5 is not worthless imho, but introducing 'elite' skills would make them more usefull as I suppose was the case for 'normal' skills' lvl5 when SCOT were introduced.
I agree with your idea that they should be made cheap, though it couldn't be less than (say) 6-10 mil. each...

i dnt think another lvl of attribute boosters ontop of SOCT are needed.
the only learning skill thats needed IMO is the SOCT version of learning
make me a sig! Now 75mil of prizes! ends at midnight on tuesday morning

I would be ok with new learning skills if they would not need advanced learning 5 but some far less req.
New learning skills with advanced 5 as a req would be screwing over the noobs badly imho.
