I came yesterday to a an interesting trade in steam and got myself 3 eve games in my steam inventory. What i want to know is if i active the eve games on my steam acount will it give me a code to put it in on the Eve wepsite ? Or will it just give me something else?
Had to ask around here becuase the steam eve forums are dead. |

If i remember how I did mine correctly, it went like this: when you run eve on steam for the first time, a CD key window pops up, when you register an account on CCP's website, copy and paste that CD key from steam to register that copy of eve you have. |

Steam changed since that, a lot. Now u cant see CD key's, that's why we're having some troubles. |

Confirming that Steam's EVE CD Keys works only on Steam.You may use them to create new EVE Online accounts under Steam only. Not sure if you can also renew old accounts that were created under Steam.
Either use them for the above mentioned purposes or hand them to someone else. You can log-in with any account under the Steam's EVE installation anyway, so you can use "out of Steam" EVE accounts and (I think) vice-versa.

I had a quandary yesterday. I'm a brand-new player, and created a separate account from my Steam Account, so I didn't get any of the bonuses and the free 30 days. Luckily, I didn't get very far, so I just created another account under my Steam ID and that solved the issues. Things are okay, now. |

It gives you one Steam EVE account :) God why would you buy 3 off the hook. Ask for your money back. You can only create new Account for EVE as a Eve Steam Account. You don't get to pick your username or password just your email and details. You only log in with your steam using your steam client = you can have only one account and don't get account name and password. |
