Our CEO was in Enderalien with her main character while one of our ship-builders
was in Rairomon and needed the Apoc-BP
to build some.
Our CEO then made kind of "trade" between her both chars and was going to transfer the BP to
him in our HQ.
When the builder logged on ,the BP had still not
arrived and thou the timelimit had expired
it still would not return to our CEO - it was
lost somewhere in the "space" between those 2 chars.
As we all know , BPs arent cheap so our CEO
both sent a petition and talked to a GM, but
after 48 hours she still has not heard from them
MAny in our Corp now fear that CCP wont
reimburse our BP that we lost due to this bug.
We are not a big Corp and hold about 30 active
members, so losing a BP worth hundreds of
milions would be a great blow to us.
Many of us has even concidered quitting EVE
because of this possible setback.
We also understand that it can be hard for
CCP to imburse it due to some that might see
this as an opportunity to "scam" their way
to some BPs.
But i also think that CCP owes it to us to
first realy investigate this matter and
not judge our Corps fate in advance.
Our CEO and several others have already made preparations for leaving EVE for Planetside incase this will not be fixed ,
we have lost BPs before
due to members betraying us and leaving with
both BPs and isk.
But that is a part of the game , losing stuff
to traitors - losing BPs worth hundreds of
milions to bug is NOT a part of the game
and should be dealt with.
We even have several Allied Corps that can
witness that we accually HAD this BP ,that
way CCP wont need to worrie that weŚre trying
to pull some kind of scam.

If need be GMs can pull up logs to verify that you had this BP.
File a bug report on this matter, because it wont get answered here; that I can guaruntee.

to trade between to of your own characters set a courier mission to pick up and drop off at the same station, set it so that only your other character can take the mission set the collateral to 1 and get your other character to pick up the item. Then break the package and you have what ever item you set the mission for.

Just one other thing - why could the CEO not transfer the item using the main character?
Seems a bit daft to transfer it to another char.

Sounds fishy. I think you can kiss the BP bye bye. I'd give it a 50/50 chance its either a bug or someone got greedy. This is WHY it's near impossible to get items lost under starnge circumstances back.

I did this very thing about 4 days ago now. Pilot it was meant for picked it up and broke the seal. Pilot did not receive the contents. It was only 7 million Isk worth, not a BP, but still; we want it back.
I have waited patiently for 4 days now on a petition response, sent another today, but no reply. I told my partner that we are going to get hosed just like we got hosed on a different petition earlier in the game launch.
Still have fingers crossed, but it is not looking good.

I've done this before, one time I set up a mission and for some reason it wouldn't pop up in availible to the other char. Wierdness.

Apparently if you just type in the name of the intended receipient of the courier mission instead of using the search function to find it, the mission will NOT be restricted and will instead be available to everyone. Someone probably accepted the mission and got the BP before you could relogin to accept it with your other char. This a known bug.
What I don't understand is why didn't you use a restricted corp hanger division or just a trusted player to make the transfer?!

If thats all it takes for you and your corp to leave EVE i guess EVE isnt for you. If you act the way you talk, you would have already gone to planetside if your battleship's hull was down to 40% in a fight.

scam a bs bp? please shut the hell up. i fought for weeks to get that thing and it was gone due to character "opasnost" snatching it up like he has done to countless other corporations. if you want to be more productive, go make fun of an ibis pilot who just got blown up by m0o. im sure they will care about your opinions there.

So opasnost nicked it did he?
How did you try and transfer the BP? Could he have then received it, as an open mission reward?
Or did he somehow put himself between the 2 characters involved?
So in the end, nothing to do with CCP. Just a problem that another character intercepted the item. Probably quite legally, unless he was using some bug.

could have use main char or trusted char..
or maybe the CEO just robbed you himself
but i'm sorry to hear about this and i hope you will get it back... if you haven't done anything and it is a bug you will.. if someone nicked it.. well.. then i'm sorry for your loss and i hope you nail the bastard |

If you had sense you can use small secure containers for transferring bps etc...just leave station. stick it in cont and come back with your other character. No one else can get in em can they...
I would just be quick to pick it up.
Dont want that cont. popping on you.

Follow up to my post above.
8 days ago, last Sunday, had the contents via courier mission bug hit us. Petitioned for help. The following Saturday, e-mail says some more information, gave this information in hopes of checking logs to find the mishap. Then today, 2 more days (Total of 8 days to rectify/find the contents); we have our contents back.
So it did take a while, but the logs finally were good enough to back track the situation for us.
On a side note; last time I petition for a bug where I lost a few million isk, the reply back was that they could not prove it by the logs. My reply back was, that is the exact problem, my wallet was not working correctly and thus they would not have any logs. Lost it, but continued onward in the game.
