On Monday and Tuesday i CTDed several times within 1h, even with following PC reboots. A big pain. On Tuesday night i thought to give my graphic card driver a try and upgraded it to Catalyst 3.6 (was runing on 3.4 before). Yesterday i could then play for several hours without even one CTD. No problems at all.
I'm wondering now, coincidence? Did they changes something on the servers, or was i just lucky and the CTDs will come back tonight?

Nope - they didn't fix it. They rolled back some code.
Why I think this?
1: While CTDs happened the Autopilot worked quite ok.
2: No more CTDs at the moment but the AP is now screwed again.
I think they have ServerSide problems with the fix for the AP and this is causing CTDs??????

Since Friday, network connectivity at the final hop into CCP has been pretty bad. Pingplotter shows all my hops clear until the iceland telecom link.
The client is not handling being disconnected well at all. I am getting crash to desktop and even bluescreens of death during some disconnects.
Some interaction between the game client and nVidia's 44.03 driver is corrupting the driver and killing the XP kernel. This is happening to me on both a GF5200U card in a desktop machine, and it is happening with a GF2GO MX4200 chipset in a new notebook.
The latest nVidia drivers stopped a lot of the plain CTDs for me, but it just can't handle the death of the client due to disconnect.

Yesterday was the first time in like 7 days I have not CTD'd. The lag spikes were horrible as usual though (go go rubberband effect).
I can deal with the "rubberband" better then CTD's. CTD's get my twitchy cancellation mouse click in a fit. The lag spikes just get me ****ed, but at least I am still playing in game.
