Hmmm... I'd go back playing Earth and Beyond. Ermm... wait, nevermind.

Recruit eve players, form an alliance, conquer some diamond mines in Africa, mine a few weeks like hell, sell everything, buy the code from cpp and start-up EVE again

Last day? make sure I've got emails for every one of the friends I've made in the community.
Then go out and podkill <name deleted> for being a daft bint in reality, and well, if it's griefing, I'll not worry about being banned then. :) Then round up every single damn carebear I can, drag 'em as a massed blob attack fleet into 0.0, and show 'em what they missed out on.
and the aftermath?
be 12 quid a month richer.... get a lot more work done.... go back to lurking in goth clubs with freaks and rubber-clad weirdoes while crashing metal industrial noise and rusted metal decoration is illuminated by single light sourses and flashing coloued lasers... hmm. no change over Eve when I come to think about it...

I'd buy CCP, hire the developers along with the little goldmine called Eve and predict a 2 year ROI. __

Dance like no one was watchng, as Eve is a complete waste of time and I would have just been given my life back. I know its contradiction but for the time being Eve is the only game in town for space based MMORPG's, there are a couple of wannbe's out there but they aren't Eve or dare I say it, EnB which I still sorely miss. I will admit CCP is committed to continuing the development of this games content but they also seem to be performing a kind of social experiment with all of the subscribers being the test subjects.
These changes in content, events and the mechanics remind me of a maze with a piece of cheese waiting for us when we find the solution. I'm just marking time until the next space based MMORPG comes along that will be entertaining instead of aggrivating and I'll make the switch. At that time there will be a couple of very high level characters being auctioned off here in the forums. I'll leave this laboratory to the rest of my fellow mice and find a new maze to start. I hope you all find that piece of cheese you're looking for.

I would make sure to print out all the fiction/stories on the EVE website and put them into my own novel, then read it and dream about living in the EVE universe every night.

The last night of the shutdown, you're all getting forum-bans. That's a promise! *jots down everyone's names*. What would I do? I dunno, probably play everquest 2 more. Nothing would be like eve, though. I hope it doesn't shut down before me.

1. Finally see first hand what a good Concordokken feels like.
2. Make a better version. If i wasn't lazy and so happy playing, I'd be doing that now.

Well since I really only want to play space games now, with multiplayer and character development, guess I would have to launch a Freelancer server and bring all my corp mates over. <center> <img src="http://img278.imageshack.us/img278/2564/markxsig6oe.jpg" border="0"> </center> |

I'd most likely fill the void by returning to a [non-official] UO Shard with some of my old friends. It's not as pretty as EVE but it feels the same (you know, apart from the space theme and everything). The PvP was great.
Or maybe I'd just play more Civ IV... Yet another game that makes time disappear.
And, of course, I'd set a long skill into training.

Finish Halo 2. Play Half Life 2 again. Buy a copy of GTA and see what all the fuss is about. Learn to talk without pressing a button first. Do some work. Take something for the shakes.

"What would you do the last night in the game?"
Spend all my isk on ships and mods and go mental in a system like PF-346.
"What would you do the after it shut down?"
Wait for someone to make an Eve server emulator and keep playing :)
