Anyone player, corp or alliance that fields a denial of service attack should be banned.. No mercy.
Under no circumstance should a denial of service attack be taken lightly.
If at all possible participants of a denial of service attack should be procecuted under whatever law that can be enforced.

Not that I am happy about not able to log in and change skills, but I undestand there position. There Name of corp were unfarally changet with out any reason.
BTW, seens they do not use any means outside standart game enviroment, it is not denial of servis attack. You migth call it service stress test.

Id like all the selfish people on here who are jumping on the "whine whine I cant play my game at this very moment cause some people who have had their name whom they've had for years denied unjustly over a rediculous claim" bandwagon sacked. Yes Im not happy about not being able to play atm but Im behind 4s in their reasons 100%. If you havent spoken to someone involved then take your whining elsewhere. Ever stop to think "Hey you know what? They are paying for the same game and should have all the rights as everyone else" But no its much easier to be a selfish person and complain as you know its easier for everyone to follow right behind you. Im guessing your the type who'd be here whining for any other reason that you cant play atm. Sack yourself please gwenvahar.

Back in the early days of the United States, Alexander Hamilton wanted to levy a tax on hard liquor in order to pay off revolutionary war debts. The Western PA farmers, who distilled their surplus grain into whiskey and sent it down the river to be sold, took a hard hit.

So what happened?
George Washington and Alexander Hamilton led an army and put down the revolution.
My point is that although I might feel sympathetic to their situation, the fact is that they ruined MY gameplay to prove a point instead of staging legal protests. Threfore I think that CCP should send in an army and arrest some of them.
By the way, when you sign up for the game you agree to the EULA - read it sometime.

no one player(or even a minority group) should be able to put themselves b4 the majority of players. denial of service is completly over the top and selfish. If they didnt want their name changed then they should have read the eula beforehand. personally i think that any group or individual that takes part in an attack of this nature should be banned, no questions asked. also why shouldnt people complain that they are unable to play a game they have paid for in advance? its not whining, its people stating their views on the current situation.if you dont want to see it then dont read the thread! its your choice which links you follow!

rgr tht panzer. 4s have no right to ruin other ppls free time. If this type of action is allowed to take place there will be no eve it will just be this, **** all.
So i say that all people who engage in this type of action should be; a. shot b. something else not as extreme, im tired let me play eve.

I could care less about some people got their corp name changed. So what? Get another name you whiny gits.
You talk about people going 'me me me' but you've crashed a game for 14,000+ people so you can stamp your feet and pout.
Like that other poster put in, CCP will treat this like a revolution or DoS attack. Then you'll whine about being martyrs.

hmmm...the Whiskey Rebellion as an anaolgy? That is an interesting :)
apparently some one filed a petion to complain about the name. It has something to do with Yugoslavia and paramilitary murderers.
In any case crashing the servers is not the proper way to protest a name change of game corporation. It has ruined the little bit of game play I have time for, and quite frankly I am unhappy. And I don't blame ccp, but people who knew that they would ruin things for others.
