Ok, is any Thorax owner having dashboard problems on loadout screens? Everytime I dock, and open loadout, my hybrids keep going offline. Its very annoying.
Also: CCP - when my thorax is reversing, would it be possible to have a beep! beep! beep! warning sound, like you get on garbage trucks? -------------------------------------------- Dead

I very rarely have that problem on my thorax, unless I make another ship active then come back to the thorax later (at which point all of my items seem to be offline most of the time).
I do have buds though who have thoraxs and report running into this problem more. Then again, I almost never experience many of the bugs I hear people complaining about (CTD, stuck character, etc), so maybe I just live a blessed EVE life. Dont know any other way to explain why I get maybe one CTD per month, and have only had a stuck character one time and that was in Beta, even though im running on my 5 year old desktop (athlon 700) or my laptop (mobile radeon video). Only thing I can think of is that I have like half a gig of ram on both systems.

Its a problem with your chip, if you come to AUTO IMAGE AND SECURITY we can load you with one that has blue indiglow and neon lights, it also gives you a fuel management readout and we will hazook you up with Phat 21' chrome dubs.

I think if you have any mods that effect your power output then you will have this problem.
I do with my Rupture.

yes I have this annoying problem as well. Its really aggrivating to jump out into .0 space and find out my Photonic CPU has gone offline when fighting rats. I have to jump back to nearest station just to toggle back online. Same goes for a lot of my modules.
Now everytime I undock i check ship fitting just to make sure everything is in order. |

I get the same issue.
I think sombody posted a while back that it might be related to your modules being 'activated' when you log in but it is done before your skill bonuses are applied, therefore theres not enough power/cpu to turn some of them on.
I think there is another problem somwhere where the modules go offline during fighting etc, seems related to the CAP bug though as this happens at the same time for me, when I re-dock some modules are offline!
I also read this was fixed in the patch notes for Chaos Don't suppose anybody has tested on there yet?

I have also had bitter problems with my Thorax. I would load out weapons and it would say i have enough power, then when i go to fight, some of my guns wouldn't work. even though while at station, everything was showing as online. Ver frustrating. I also have the same thing when i dock, some of my weapons will go offline.
Pain in the arse and nothing worse than going into battle expecting your big guns to rock the situation, only to find that one or more weapons are non functional and you are now stranded with less firepower

What, no Type-R stickers for 50 extra powergrid or massive spoilers? And you can't open my Thorax's exhaust up so it makes a farting bumblebee sound?

You can actually "fix" that problem by repackaging the modules that are going offline all the timeand. After that, refit them, and they should work properly.
That did it for me, at least - but then, I don't fly a Thorax. -------------------------------------- Sarela "Eurydike" Taris
