Edited by: d''hofren on 09/11/2005 11:42:58 You might find this guy interesting
Eric Von Daeniken
IMHO he is a total fruitcake, but his books are quite interesting to read and for some reason you always find stacks of them in secondhand bookshops.

The explanation
It's not photoshopped, it's actually there. It's just a simple coincidence because of rewriting. It might look weird, but like they say: if the egyptians truly had helicopters, wouldn't we see more drawings of them?

maybe they were more technilogically advanced than we gave them credit for, and when they left the Earth in their UFO's they were able to destroy (almost) all traces of them...

Not smart of them to leave behind a couple of drawings then
And if that's the case, maybe one day they'll return and pick up those pyramids?

Hot air ballons & Zeppelins would be just about belivable and technologically possible. Propulsion would of course be problomatic having to rely on things other than internal combustion.
Helicopters though? They only came into existance when we developed engines powerful, and light, enough to keep the things up. If the egyptians had engines that powerful then they would have conquered the world. **************** Pain is a way of knowing yourself; Death is the ultimate in self-discovery.

Edited by: Lord WarATron on 10/11/2005 10:38:44 Actually, the carvings are genuine, but it is beleived that they are actually standard hiroglypcs, (Spelling?) which has had the ancient equivalant of tip-ex put on. The old hyroglyphs were filled with putty and new ones carved in. After the putty fell off... well, you see the result as it is now. --- Order Now!
