I was captain of a fishing vessel there, and yes there are still places in New Eden where humanity still eats actual food instead of the various flavored protein packs most people now-a-days believe to be the height of humane ingestion. I have found over the past few weeks that I miss the simplicity of such a life. Most if not all of you would agree that in New Eden, politics is power and information is the true currency that keeps the universe intact. I don't like that. I came from much simpler beginnings, waking up before dawn and working until dusk so that myself and others of my Clan could eat and have some ISK stored away for a rainy day. I just don't understand why in this great big galaxy when meeting someone new you must assume that their are a spy or a sociopath or both, the fact that this is normal bothers me greatly. Where I grew up the only thing needed in order to secure trust was a handshake and a promise, and now it seems like without spies, counter-spies, volumes of contracts and documentation, as well as legal garbage nothing can get started with a modicum of surety that it will be completed. I was wondering what you of the IGS thought of our "modern" society of mistrust and backstabbing. To be honest I can't tell if I am truly upset or simply have mental issues from imbibing homemade liquor and staring that this sun I've been orbiting for the last few hours. And so I leave it to you IGS to decide.

They gave me experimental implants for free and a cheap ship, I test out their implants and deal with the side effects. There are days where I would like nothing more than to return to my old vessel, The Girl, but I came to the stars to collect stories to bring back to the young ones of the Clan.
