Hello everyone, I was wondering if some of you could share with us what ore types there are in various 0.0 security regions.

It's diffrent from region to region, but some I've seen don't have any good ore in them like the Outer Ring region where the best was Jaspet. Other more deeper ones had Bistot and Crokite.

There are places no more than 3 jumps from empire and 4 jumps froma an empire station with a refinery with crokite, bistot and mercoxite.

would these places be in the south?
I have to go like 34 jumps to find croket in the north, its jsut nuts and the nerest station is 7 jumps away.

As for outer ring, it does have arkonor, and mercoxite.

Querious if I remember has Bistot and Mercoxit, and Catch has Arkanor.

I know a system that's 3 or 4 jumps from (lowsec) empire and a few jumps from refine stations that has named Bist, Gneiss, Ochre, Mercoxit and crokite. If I was poor and could mine I'd go there  (good NPC system though).

Theres maybe 50 decent mining systems in all of 0.0. The rest are no better than your average low-sec empire system.

That's just slightly wrong...
I count every system with bistot or better as a good mining system. So that effectively excludes spodumain and gneiss as good ores, which is very debatable in itself, but let's be kind to your assertation.
Bistot is found in any system with a sec rating below -0.5 if i recall right.
Call up that map and go count, you'll find a fwe more then 50 systems like that in eve, to put it mildly. I bet Delve alone has over 20 system with bistot.
Of course, if you demand a system thats within 5 jumsp of a refinery that amount is cut down considerably yes. But then again, that's what pos and outposts are for isnt it ?
there are simpyl loads og unused mining systems out there, because of lacking infrastructure. But ccp gave us the tools to make us infrastructure, we just need time to set those to work.

K-9 is arguably the best refinery in the south. Ark/bis/merc in every system up to 2 hops away.
2 complexes 8/10 , 7/10
the baddest Angels in D4- the baddest sansha in C-PEWN.

But honestly, how good is a system with Bistot and the closest refinery is 30 jumps away? Run the numbers, you are better off mining Jaspet in some random 0.4 with a refinery in the same system. And no, intensive refineries don't cut it. Between the fuel costs, refining time, setup time and the hard coded cap on refining yield, you aren't any further ahead than you would be if you made the 30 jump trip to the refinery.
Just because it has good ore, doesn't make it a good mining system, sorry.
