I would like the option to completely turn off the system scanner from ever doing a scan every time I jump. Sometimes it covers up other celestials and blocks me from being able to click it. I'm trying to PvP not explore, I don't need any sort of exploration scanner.
Also I would like the directional scanner to be a 1 click option, not have to go through the radial menu, once again I'm trying to pvp not explore, i don't care at all for exploring. I shouldn't have to work around all this extra junk.

While it does always do an initial sweep, the markers will disappear after the pass if your overlay is set to off.

Surely you realize there could be people to shoot ammo at in the sites?

The 10 seconds its up is long enough to get in the way of me of being able to see stuff, and click stuff. Its annoying.
The other stuff, yeah, yeah, yeah I could, but I would really like to have the option to have it the way it used to be. |

I'm having a hard time believing this doesn't create client lag as well as system lag. 1200 people jump in to system, I don't think they are there for the 6/10 plex.

This was asked for over and over by those of us thAt tested it.....please CCP an off button
But we were told that they knew best....it was gonna be fun and you would get used to it.....
Well I am not....it blocks out the sun and loads my screen with tons of crap I don't want or need. Surprise CCP not all of us want to play lewt pi+Ķata or scan WHs down.
I think it's a good tool for those who wish to use it. I'm not sold on the new anom and sig list...it's less clear than the old one but the info is there with an easy button warp to.

Its pissing me off as well.
My computer freezes everytime I jump. My 3d graphics are messed up. Never posed a serious problem until now. I simply wasnt looking at a very cool universe. Since I'm also a pvp-er like the op, I never cared. I was to busy locking targets and being really involved with the rest of the overview.
Now I play in a window and minimize it everytime I jump. I'm not shooting anybody anymore. I have a 2 sec delay at every jump...
Get rid of it plz |

Yeah it's bad. Especially if you're chasing someone and you need to select things in space instead of the overview. |

Try using the solar system map to pinpoint targets in space. It's faster. All the anoms appear there and you don't have to wait for things to "disappear" like in the space view.
