Been playing eve for about 3 years now. I have 2 accounts, 2 corps billions of isk and billions of isk worth of assets but of late ive been sooooo bored with eve and started to look elsewhere.
Been playing WOW for about 4 months and in them 4 months only logged into eve to update skills.
Today I have cancelled both my accounts it was a huge decision didnÆt really want to do it but seems pointless paying 30 euros a month for the sake of it.
IÆve made many friends in eve and will miss the banter and team work. I believe I have 6 months to change my mind so who knows I may be back.
ItÆs been a blast and im gutted to go as ive invested soooooooo much time and effort into the game.

its always sad to see a longtime eve player leave teh game
but really man, there has got to be some charity or stuff to be had

Isn't there an unwritten law somewhere stating all 'stuff' should be given to noobs, as opposed to other veterans?

Perhaps wen people leave, their stuff should be auctioned off, and the ISK given to corps like Eve Uni, y'know, good causes. Eve Uni is the only good cause i can think of right now, lol.

Not true iirc. Trial characters 'may' be deleted by ccp after being inactive 6 months, when they become a database issue. As this has not happened yet, no1s account has been erased yet.

u are wrong i think - if i read your post rightly, ur saying his account is a trial? but its not, he been playing for 3 years.
nope he was stating that because he is NOT a trial account his chars are safe and he is safe to return even longer than 6 months after...
for helping resolve this issue can i have some of your ISKies?

Your ISK, character, and assets, are not ruthlessly deleted after 6 months.
They are just not garanteed after 6 months, and most of your stuff may still exist. Your character will probably always exist.
Trust me... I know first hand
