Just my two isks but...
if there is a breakaway alliance then I think SA should be looking cearfully at who controls Paragon Soul and where there loyalties lie.

The rats are deserting the sinking ship, many corps gone and more to follow.
Little birdie whispered to me...
Another SA corp has a deal in place to join ASCN...just waiting for the water in the ship to get high enough.
Another birdie says that several SA corps are feed up with MASS leadership and will announce a new alliance in omist soon.
Another birdie says...ohnoessssss, I can't spill this one yet :)
The south is about to get verrrryyy interesting.

Originally by: Orc A Well, I cant speak about the whole alliance, but i can tell you my personal view: SA will be "dead" when the last of us has left and no one stands to fight anymore. I must dissapoint you, and inform you that such time will not come. IE-EX Will be fighting till the last breath (and Stain being NPC owned, that breath would last for a while). We've been here when CA died... We've been here when Xetic Died... We've been here through the Civil war... And we'll keep being just right here, through this whole mess. We have survived your predecesours, and we will survive you.

Good day.
OMG, Dejavu. It's like SA are acting exactly as we have when you guys invaded (jumped ship). We'll see how long it will last.

Nick, we told you guys that when corps started jumping ship from SE to join SA that most of those corps are carebears and didn't fight at all. Now those corps are leaving. You guys created SA to "Cut the Fat" as Triggers stated. So? Why is the Fat being cut again.
MASS comming back the way the did was never good for stain and it's not good now. NPC'ing and Mining ships are dieing in Stain space everyday. That's not a way for an alliance to function. It's been like this from the beginning. Since XB started to kill you guys and now G/IRON/FE joined in too.
I guess you guys are too proud to admit a mistake.

I think everyone is tired of hearing about Stain. The alliance, the empire, and the allaince.
Those in and out of it.
If they break up, yay, on to things that matter. SA was dead long ago, what's with all this necrophilia.

going to the topic of the first poster.
what happens IF SA folds and leaves for a green pasture.
i see in my crystal ball that Paragon soul will become somekind of a CFS under the rule of Bob or whoever.
Esoteria will fall under the rule of Ascendant Frontier.
stain reagion will become pirate infested and contested while the remains of SA/SE fight stubbron for rule or just for the fun of it.
catch corridor to empire is going to get worse.
what will happen with the corps that leave i cannot tell. if i cud i would not be working now

Wait, so Xetic and Imperium crumbled and CA just disbanded.
Last I checked all three of those alliances crumbled. ----------------

I dont think that G/IRON will stay, though I think that they would make for good neighbours in the South after a time.
IRON (or is it G?) would not have spent all that effort and money creating its own outpost if it planned to just go take someone elses.
I suspect that Stain will reform, a new alliance will be born out of it. It worked for ASCN, why cant it work for SA? Less area, tighter knit group. Could be good for them.

Originally by: Astarte Nosferatu Stain Alliance, as far as I know, the oldest alliance ingame from the times before official Concord sanctioned alliances were introduced, seems to be at a breaking point.
Stain- Alliance is one of the game's youngest alliances.
Xetic Federation was the first to make an in game alliance, closely followed by Curse Alliance and Fountain Alliance. Stain Empire was the old Stain Alliance, and it got formed after the other mayor alliances. I think they didn't have anyone suitable for being an executor so they petitioned to get their alliance started. I think.
As very many will attest, the name is more important than the membership. Old SA = SE, NOT new SA. New SA just has the same membership, but is in fact a lot younger. I'm sure CYVOK and company will back me up on this one
I wish there were more fun skills with Memory as primary. Poor Intaki combat people with low perception... |

OMG not the north vs. south bullcrap again.
Guys if ever possible, could we stop that? If ur not satisfied with ur alliance create a new one and take the corps with you that share the same goals.
Ally with only those entities that ACTUALLY HELP you in times of need. And dont just make friendship with guys only cause they are living at your borders. If u dont like tham kill them.
Organize urself well, thats possible with lower numbers. And u can even make lots of decent (internet) friendships, which is not as possible as it is in a mega alliance
The days of mega alliances are counted. Dont be afraid take ur chance and make a new start, u wont regret it.
Sure as hell we didnt as we left PA... Class >>> Mass

Were i the carebear corps of SA i would call in to join ISS. Watch ISS grow, they would totally jump on it and its a great place for these carebear corps to go to. Were I in ISS i'd be doing my research and claiming it. They could defend it in the name of IRON and G. Plus, talk about a big plus to their mission of bringing 0.0 to the public. They'd make a killing on stain/esoteria/paragon soul.
Ok, realistically, i bet G and Iron just split up a bit and hold both until someone like FIX, ASCN, or BoB tries to kick em out.

Nice acronym. :-)
Anyhow, if ISS even decided to hold it in anyones name, that would be a violation of their charter, so it is unlikely to happen. ISS is a neutral alliance/corp from what little I know of them.
Also, all this crap about the north vs south sounds like it's mainly coming from Americans, based on their own problems within the country, albeit, that happened a long time ago... Not meant as an insult, just a general observation...
Originally by: Cummilla As if the southern alliances would actually permit a permanent "northern" presence in the south. heh. The northerners are just dreaming if they think that's the case.
As of yet, we haven't had anyone boot us out... So I guess this is our dream hmm?

Thank you. And yes, that is likely what will happen. SA will fall apart, and a new alliance will be born out of it. Granted, we need a way to really KILL an alliance, instead of just demorilizing them until they fall apart. That takes time, which we have currently. :-)

Now now... No need to act like children here. Granted, I agree with you on the point about mass, but you could've worded it a bit better so it didn't sound so... tasteless. :-) We've seen very little MASS forces on the field to date.

Mmm hmm... To my knowledge, NSA(our predecessor, the joke) never bothered to do a full scale war against your guys's space. Also, I wish CCP would turn all the npc stations into conquerable ones so we could finally remove everyone X_X. Most of our fights come from fighting Interstellar eXodus and Eldar Imperium, one of which isn't really part of SA, though allies of said entity.

Not so much now as when I first started PvP in January but "North V South" is a more in-depth statement than just a few disgruntled rednecks would make. The North and the South have evolved differently in PvP. Different tactics and techniques are noticeable when making transition from one to the other. Not that either is "better" than the other....just different.
Anyway, Azeroth, I'm not a redneck but do live in the American south and I just want to let you know, you wouldn't be much out of place. I can remember a couple of different occasions when, on TS, I heard "Hey y'all, watch this!" pass through your lips. Of course, as in real life, things got embarrasing for you afterwards. :P |
