Hmmmm, non-tech manga? I kind of like Samurai-X, Princess Monokoke, Doraemon, Pokemon. Sailormoon isnt bad but their later episodes are a bit boring for me.

Besides, another worth mentionining are Bubblegum Crisis and Hamtaro (and friends). Hello Kitty is nice as well.

Think Digimons are catered for boys whereas, Pokemon is more of younger ppl's thingy, unisex^^.
