the signature plates with player pics and slogans ! how do you set one of thoes up?
Please describe in layman's terms for all us people who have never desighned a web page before. ive seen some really good ones out there as im sure we all have and i'd like to add my own any advice will be appreciated!

Have artistic talent. Go to art school. Graduate. Buy Photoshop. Make sig. Post it to your hosting company. Edit your settings.
Any questions? You should even be able to do it without some of those steps.

right. you have to use html mark up codes for it to display like ours. for example:
[ img ] http://www.storage.com/sig.jpg [ /img ]
but without the spaces.

Mate ignore those dudes recommending Photoshop.
In my book it is an over-complicated, over-elaborate tool.
Real art comes from the heart and soul and does not need to be complicated...You can create touching images (see mine below) without the need for such unnecessary complication.
My suggestion:
The simplicity and ease of use of Microsoft Paint will really allow you to express yourself properly...and its free...
Who can ask for more!

I say use CAD for the Layout, 3d Studio Max for the modeling and Lightwave for the animation.

heheh I been doing computer art for a number of years now...
It all started with MS paint back in the glory days of windows 95 (or was it 3.1?).
I did it pixel by pixel and god did it hurt!
But yes then I graduated to Photoshop, and oh lord christ jesus did everything change overnight...
anyway yeah don't fret on what program to use.
All you need is MS paint to do some nifty sigs.
Just try to be creative, capture a nice scene in game, or do like the one guy did above and make something dorky but somehow endearing heheh.
Hell you could even draw/paint it by hand then scan it in, sure it might look like a 4 year olds refrigerator art, but who cares... I think my step sons refrigerator art is just dandy thank you very much  .
Just make sure you get a kick out of seeing it and that way evenif you get made fun of for it, at least you'll be happy about it and can say it's all yours .
I mean we can't ALL work for ILM or Square or something and know how to make stunning CGI that can even cook you dinner while you stare at them can we?

Since i suck at using everything from Microsoft paint to Photoshop, i just draw my signature in crayon on a post it note...whenever i see a post by me i tape it onto the computer screen under my name. True, i am the only one to see it but I'm what matters.

I suck totally at anything to do with making things, no matter the medium, wood, metal, photoshop, so I will p[ay someone a reasonable amount of ISK for thei time if they will make me and a friend a cool sig, PLEASE mail me ingame I really want one but am just too crap
