Umm yeah. Not reccomending this game to anyone - I couldn't give a fiddler's fart about faction ships. The only reason I'm not firing CCP out of my payroll right now is because I've got so much time invested (wasted?) in this game. Fix the lag. This is ludicrous.
In fact, maybe 60 days inactive for my account is in order. Besides I don't want my money wasted on more laggy features in upcoming patches.
I dunno, maybe this game just isn't for me anymore. Ohh yeah, "It's massively multiplayer!! There's 10,000 people online. It's gonna lag." Well, sorry, I don't get a kick out of mining and anchoring POS with 10,000 other people really, and that seems to be where the lag-free zone is. Snow is falling in the mountains and it's time to shine up the board anyways. Was fun while it lasted, sweetheart. Bye.

lol, I loaded and i had already warped off, wapred back in and i had a 5 sec delay on everything but i could see everyone, managed to get some kills cause everyone else was lagging bad.

What's going on here was that there was a fight (or a blind fumble tbh) in H-Pa tonight.
80 ships on one side of the gate and 200 on the other. The 200 jump in then.. according to most reports (including my own as I was there) MANY screens go blank. No ships, no overview, no nada. Nothing, noche, zip, zero - zilch.
Minutes - and I do mean minutes later - some people report ships loading etc, others report dying, or waking in stations. Obviously some folks were able to load and activate mods but MANY were not and these losses are being petitioned as death due to screenblankage is not acceptable.
Many wierd reports were made, cans warping off etc but for the most part ts was an awed repition of, "I can't see anything - can you?"
I suggest, most humbly, that CCP revoke the "we can only reimburse the lost materials in the mail blah blah blah" crap as many people never even had a chance to do anything.
NOW - for those who will surely wish to flame, it was not about being aligned, or having effects off or anything nubbish like that.. it was just nodedeath or uberlaggage or some such ccp issue.
Finally, it was requested that a GM be in local to observe and ensure this would not happen. It is my understanding that a GM was there but did not stop this embarassment from occuring. I hope I am incorrect but fear I am not. Draw your own conclusions.

I think its also important to note that many people spent a lot of time and effort to gear up and organise for a battle only to find that this was impossible.
It is sad to think of the amount of wasted hours and most people not seeing as much as a ship load.

Yes, heated words made in haste are not a gentleman's way, regardless of their sincerity. What's going on here:
I spent my entire afternoon away from work getting set up for a battle of epic proportions. Just what I've been waiting on for weeks. Making a stand outnumbered 2:1. So excited.
After lots of 'hurry-up-and-wait' with great anticipation building, the enemy fleet jumps in to fight. This is it! The big moment we've been waiting for! 
However, strangely enough, there is no fight. Just myself and my fellow pilots aligned, at speed, waiting for the enemy to uncloak and unleash hell. Then suddenly all objects disappear from space. Just blank space on the screen. Complaints across coms of similar dilemma. Then reports of ships taking damage. Order is given to withdraw. Mods don't activate, ships won't warp, people reporting they are in their pod or in a cloning fac. Multiple voices claiming a cargo container just warped off. Then I notice my shields going down, then armor. Still just blank space on my screen and empty overview. I attempt to activate my repairer to no avail. I direct my ship to warp for the 15th time. At 10% armor, I finally see WARP DRIVE ACTIVE. My ship warps to safespot which still shows blank space. Only indication of movement is my speedometer. I still can't even see my own ship. The armor rep then activates. I sit in safespot like Blind Melon Chitlin twiddling my thumbs listening to all kinds of reports coming across the coms worthy of a Twilight Zone episode. Local chat fills with smacktalk. I wonder why I play this game. I make an ugly forum post. I'm disgusted. Utterly. A new low for Eve. Would much rather have been at work, it was that bad. And to add insult to injury, I'm paying for it. Sometimes I believe I must be retarded. 
Got to make up those hours this weekend now, which is going to cut deeply into my time casting on the river. *SIGH* I'll live, but I won't easily forget. One more big step towards putting this game into the bad habit category. Unfotunate. 
PS: I only have a little bit of stuff, and it's spoken for already when the time comes.

Aw please, it hasnt got anything to do with stupidness on the players side, a large amount of people just wanted to have fun, ccp says it should be possible, this is a mmorpg game after all, and then close to 300 people see that it isnt possible to have fun and get what they expect for their money, which should be massive fleet battles.
