Edited by: Dimitri Chandler on 12/11/2005 07:14:47 I am getting bored of going out and getting drunk on a mixture of Corona, Vodka & Redbull, and Brandy.
Had some grass type stuff in a glass called "mohito" last night and it was awful.
Can you recommend any interesting new drinks for a classy upchuck?

Google "Habu Sake".
It's an Okinawa thing, but extremely potent. Not so much as Absinthe, but still fun stuff. I plan to bring a bottle of it back to the States when I transfer, if only to look at the snake. But the bottle I'm looking at costs like $200 USD (OMG OMG!)

Hmmm, an interesting one. I'd suggest procuring a SAUCE GUIDE TO*****TAILS and working through.
Gin and Tonic (has to be Plymouth Gin and Schweppes tonic) is always my top choice. I like White russians as well - especially after watching 'The Big Lebowski' so many times. If I fancy a change, there's always rum with mulled lime and sugar syrup - I think it's called a caipirinya?

Mix a Blue WKD (drink in UK, not sure about rest of world) with port for a vimto like drink that goes down well.
Other suggestions:
Turbo Diesel: 1/2 pint Cider, 1/2 pint Lager + 2 shots vodka & dash of blackcurrent Pear Cider (swedish stuff is the best, buy from IKEA) Whiskey (single malts are best and make you seem sophisticated/alcoholic depending on quality) Ales

-submarine: Pour 1 shot of 35%+ alcoholic drink into one pint of beer and drink it.
-unknown name: All i know is it is served on Ios and has 16 different types of alcohol in it...
-tequila...serevd a little differently. sniff the salt, pour lemon juice in your eyes and then drink tequila :P
For class, you should drink Blue Kamikaze or something similiar. Just take a look what the bar/club offers you (cocktails section) and pick the one that is the most expensive

gives a nice warm fuzzy feeling that only tequila can achieve, and being the bottom of the top shelf it is modestly priced.

It's got my vote!! Tamanohikari Sake is another one of my favorites. Sake is best served hot though.

For the festival summer you need the Calamacho or however it's spellt, equal parts cola and red wine. Easier to carry around than the corresponding number of beers and still drinkable when flat, also an excellent container to go in when you don't want to give up your spot during that perticular concert.
Remind me about The Maze.
I'm Danton Marcellus and I approve of this message. |

Surprised nobody's mentioned my favorite, start with a regular-sized vanilla milkshake(20oz or so), add a little bit of cinnamon, and a quad-shot of amaretto.
