Ladies and gentlemen, denizens of the Intergalactic Summit and my fellow capsuleers,
For fifteen thousand years the Amarr Empire has stood as a beacon to the fragmented, disparate refuges of mankind in this uncaring and unforgiving cluster. Despite what a fearful outsider's opinion of that civilization might be, none can deny that it is a mighty power, a monumental and unrelenting edifice dedicated to the will and perseverance of mankind under the direction of the Divine.
Though it is the stoic strength of the Empire that is seen most often from the outside and exemplified from within, the Empire is also a bastion of civilized sophistication, enlightened discourse and rich, refined culture. Our vast armies and stern rule of law exist to protect and expand that culture:the end result of and final reason why they exist in the first place.
Though we at PIE so often engage in the selfless sacrifice of engaging in war on the behalf of the safety and prosperity of our great Empire, there are times where we may allow ourselves to be at ease, celebrate and partake in a small taste of the fruits of our labor.
It is both my honor and my pleasure to announce that the Praetoria Imperialis Excubitoris will be holding a grand formal ball on the evening of June 15th, YC 115 starting at 19:00 EST. We invite all those loyal to, allied with or in good standing towards the Empire and PIE to attend this gala event! (Admittance shall be by invitation and pre-approval only. Enemies of the Empire and PIE need not apply.)

An Inquistion is hardly necessary. A good memory will suffice. Several people declared their Sabik loyalties during the last EVE's Next Top Model competition. Anyone who followed the contest can look up the contestants and their current corporations.

I would be surprised, and somewhat disappointed, if any of those organizers took Miss Valate's word at face value, being a known Sabik and Covenant affiliate herself.
Surely it would not be in her own best interest, nor that of her fellow heretics, to name any actual Sabik amongst the attendees; would that not require that the names she might provide are true members of the Faithful or our allies?

-bring back the Jukebox!
-enable ships wobbling in hangar view (pre-Captains Quarters)
-add more missions (NPC fleet vs. NPC fleets that actually shoot)
-less focus on graphics, more on mechanics |

I think I'm in the same boat; I'm Gallente-born, but I lived and worked in the Khanid Kingdom for Royal Khanid Navy, Emperor Family, and Amarr Navy for two years. I'm actually very close to being awarded a Navy Apocalypse. Can't believe where all the time went!

Are you saying you couldn't check who you were inviting?
Both myself and Lyn received invitations for our whole corporation to attend the ball. When you then decided to go back on your word, I could only take that as a rescinding of our corporate invitation. Regulations regarding heresy were cited, which seems moot when a large portion of the attendees aren't believers at all, and again: you knew about Lyn before we arrived - you invited her.
So what would you rather I assume:
That PIE is so incompetent it can't even keep its friends from its enemies, or that this was a planned and malicious decision to slight me and my party publicly?

I had a good time at the ball, thanks for the invite and the courtesy and hospitality that was extended to me by members of PIE and other guests. It was an extremely well-run event. The art gallery in particular was really educational and interesting, I learned all sorts of new stuff and the paintings were great. I don't know how people dedicate themselves to a lifetime of painting, it surely takes more discipline than what I've got. I feel sorry for anyone who wasn't invited.
After I left the ball (which I believe was pretty much right when it was closing anyway) I felt like some recreation so I left with one of the ball servants in tow, because I needed a local person to show me where the good entertainment spots were. I'm not sure if the servant was employed by the venue or by PIE, and I also am not really sure if he's a worker or a slave... we didn't discuss that stuff - but he said that it was okay for him to assist me because it was his job to service the needs of the guests, so technically he was still performing his duty by helping me out even if we weren't actually on the premises because I was still a guest at the ball. I have no idea how that works or if that's true or not, but I figure if he was lying, that was his problem, not mine. Anyway, he got stuck into the alcohol a bit once we got to the karaoke bar, which was probably my fault to be honest because I was the one buying drinks, and as it happens he's a bit of a "two-pot screamer" so I had to kind of look after him a bit so he didn't get into too much trouble (which he didn't, he was quite well behaved considering the trouble he had standing). As I'm sure he's a valuable employee of somebody I didn't want to leave him out in the mall slumped against a bench so I took him back with me and right now he's sleeping off the damage in the dorms at my HQ building.
Just letting you know this so just in case he is actually your employee and you're missing someone on the roll call, that I've got him with me and it's no problem to bring him back to wherever he needs to be, just let me know. If on the other hand he's venue staff I'll just ask him what his schedule is when he wakes up and I'll make sure he's on time for his next shift and reimburse any appropriate parties if there were any problems with him being absent or it turns out he wasn't doing what he was supposed to be doing.

Either you might be misinformed, or either your security checkpoint was faulty. I was definitely not armed. I am not even sure I have been armed in a public event even once in my whole life.
The real reason that was given was heresy, which is ludicrous. The TC is the only authority able to issue such sentences, and as far as I know, PIE remains a capsuleer corporation and I have yet to get a notice from the TC as well. Any Faithful, especially part of the nobility, would have been greatly insulted by such public innuendos.
What can be said of PIE Inc when they are not even able to respect the most basic rules and traditions of Amarr ?

I'm not going to enter to discuss the issue of captain Farel, that's for my superiors to discuss with hers.
But, certainly, the Praetoria is not supplanting any institutions we support. There was a Grand Inquisitor in our formal ball, and he issued his congratulations just as Admiral Karetta did, if we were supplanting the Ministry of Internal Order he works in, I'm sure he wouldn't have said such polite words. So, as usual, your claims are empty captain Strife, you can go elsewhere to try and sew disorder and chaos, we can see through your lies.

My deepest and most heartfelt apologies for being unable to attend - the situation in Haatomo, coupled with a surprise admittance to our medical wards in Kakakela, have kept me very busy. I shall instead make a donation to the Todaki Faithful of Amarr Organization, a group dedicated to cultural exchange here in Lonetrek. I have to admit, Silas. I'm disappointed with your new choice in company, although I suppose I shouldn't be surprised. After all, Strife has a way of floating from one group of belligerent undesirables to the next in some kind of vain quest for vindication.
Her cartooned styling of villainy felt much more at home with a certain Mr. Pryce, don't you think? Whilst this is certainly a step up for her it is a rather large step down by association for you, Mrs. Vitalia.
That rather unpleasant buzzing sound aside, I wish to congratulate PIE on a wonderful evening. Please disregard the prattle, although I'm sure that nobody in PIE would heed the words of Karmilla and the other naysayers too closely.
The evening did give me the opportunity to meet a figure in PIE whom I am quite a fan of, although I could not shake the feeling that she would have liked to see my head upon a pike. That seems to be my luck with the role models I pick. Nonetheless, I am grateful for the chance.
