SO I haven't played in about 2-3 years. When I played, I was in nullsec for a time, and was training Gallente to better deal with the rats in my part of space (whatever that was can't remember). After I left that part of space, I ended up in a new type of nullsec in which my low Gallente bship skills rendered me useless all over again just as I had slowly started ramping up. So now I'm at the point where I have Amarr bships, some Gallente, and the bare basic requirements for a Raven.
Seeing as the Raven used to be an amazing ship then for missioning, I have decided to stick with it and at least be able to do whatever missions with confidence in dependable damage. From what threads I've seen, Raven still seems a good L4 missioner. C/D?
SO my question is this... (keeping in mind my knowledge about missile mechanics is null, going to look up now) what skills would be suggested to aim for t2 cruise launchers and adequate shield tank? I assume training whatever up to lvl4 at least, but which skills do I even need? Many things have changed aparently, and I'd love to get good opinions from those who know the here and know.
If all else fails, my tankbaddon with the beefy 410dps (lol) will suffice until I get better skills.

Look me up in-game some evening and I'll send you my L4 running CNR fitting.
Then it's just a matter of building something similar with a Raven and seeing what skills you need to fly it.
Or even come tag along on a few of them if you like. |

Honestly I don't know the first thing about properly fitting a Raven but if I was going to use one for ratting in null I would try fitting it like this to start:

A small amount of tank to let you jump 100k from the rats, lots of damage, light drones for annoying frigates, painters fight in falloff but whatever, rigs to apply damage better, and some ecm drones and a heavy neut to get away from lone hostiles. A CNR will be better but it isn't always easy to find faction hulls in null or replace them when you loose them. |

Don't waste your time on these... they only affect the passive Shield Resist Amplifiers anymore, which you shouldn't be using for general mission running. |
