Make a memorable signature and you'll have at least a few people know you just from skimming over a thread. I bet maybe 2 people that read these forums have ANY idea who I am, but probably a few hundred recognize the signature here and there. (or maybe not)

From this thread, I know Hippo, Omber, Parmizan, Fairimear, Dark Shikari, Verone and Ikvar from the forums, but noone from in-game. Other famous forum goers I know, at least by name, are Femintaki, Mari Y'Tuk, Fubar, Gavin Kineli, Weirda, j0sephine, Nafri & Pottsey. The most famous people I can think of are the two Joshuas...Foritain and Calvert and TankCEO. The last of those though is more legend and myth than a real person though.
Everyone else is a blur whose names I don't pay much attention to, unless I know them in-game
