is it a dedicated shiptype or just any ship able to fit the generator module?
will it be able to generate the field in a cloaked state?
how did it work as shown on the fanfest?

It can fit on any ship which meets the fitting requirements of the module
Quote: will it be able to generate the field in a cloaked state?
No - though whilst generating the field the ship is unlockable.

They were in different areas, one in a titan and one in a carrier. The carrier emmited the field, the titan pilot right-clicked the player in the gang window making the field and selected something (Most likely a fire command) and the missiles went away through the other side of the mini wormhole or whatever it is. Then the whole area around the titan (something like 1000km across) was covered in explosions and vaporised 100 gurista Ravens.
So really, the weapon is fired like activating a 'warp to gang member' command. Naturally though, the ship making the field has to be either very strong (the Amarr carrier lost about half shields from the attack) or expendable. ------

Now we just need a missile command like that for the Thorax, bring it back up to it's former glory after the upcoming nerf

Unlikely, who would use a T2 ship on a suicide run like that? Unless you meant the Mk 2, not tech 2, I'm not sure. In which case, yes most deffinately. ------

This has been fixed on the Singularity server so that the ship generating the field can be locked. At least so I was told by a Dreadnaught pilot whom I was helping jump to a new system.
