Was browsing the Japanese Eve main page when I saw this post .( http://community2.eveonline.com/ja/communication/news/2month_evelife_01 , http://eveonline.nexon.co.jp/campaign/challenge.aspx )

Apparently Nexon, for promotional purposes for Eve Online has set up a audition for a reality series for the selected person to experience eve online for 2 months. Said Audition can be watched at http://live.nicovideo.jp/watch/lv140532500 (if you have premium nicovideo account).

The Selected candidate was announced today to be Ms Kazuha Asaki. (http://ameblo.jp/asakikazuha/ blog is here for those interested.)


It will be broken into two segments .
From the 11th of June to 10th July she will be blogging on her escapades as a new player in eve on a blog (http://asakikazuha.blog.fc2.com/)

From the 11th July onwards, she will be placed in a house , then what she gets for food would be based on her performance in eve eg isk making. This will be livestreamed on Nicovideo and Stickam for 12 hours daily till the 11th of August.

That horrible realisation that Graygor got 37 new recruits for his emerging Keiretsu and that we should be afraid of his emerging power. This is how Goonswarm began, by finding such a ruthless pool that could be focused on eve like a lightning rod.

If it attracts the no lifer Japanese menfolk (there are plenty) it can only be good to encourage plenty of fools to be ripped off, and some of them will embrace their inner darkness and devote their energies and destroy all western industrialists... before they merge TQ with the Chinese server that is.

I managed to convince a few of my Japanese workers to try eve, our lead translator has really gotten into it. And by that... i mean Japanese level of getting into something. He's dedicated himself to finding the optimal frigate / destroyer setup for ganking each type of small ship / fit he might find in lowsec. He seems to enjoy being a cutthroat son of a female dog even if he's only been playing a month.

Its gotten so much that every non work related conversation we have now is about eve.

He's a natural born ganker and lowlife.
