what happens to drones that get left out in space during a server reboot?

Yeah, I got locked out in 0.0 space. I saw the message for about 5 minutes to get to a SS, but I can't get back in to make one as it is.

yeap me too, somebody doesn't want nbsi's in game :)
the server didn't reboot it just kicked the players so i quess your drone will be still there

This is so cool.
I finally log in after staring at the "Entering game as *******" thingy for 5 minutes on both accounts. The first thing I see is that there is a server restart ... okay ...
I get logged in on Hoozin and I can see me and my alt in corp chat, meanwhile I see another corp member in the station with me, but he's not in local and not in corp chat.
My alt finishes logging in and oddly, I cannot see Hoozin in corp chat, only my alt.
I can talk to myself in corp chat, but it looks like I'm the only one, and my corp chat is being hacked by a corp member that's offline?
Edit: I'd try to make that sentence less confusing, but I really can't.

Yes, I'm guilty also.
Thou its been awhile since I've set my alarm clock to go off in the middle of the night (I switch to a long skill before I goto bed..not a noob anymore you know  )
But I did teach my girlfriend how to log in and start a new skill while I'm at work.
Nah, this post wasn't a whine post. It's just meant to serve as a notification to the eve general public that things are funky at the moment and also to notify the relevent people to give the server a kick. I'd imagine half the time they don't even know there's a problem unless it's pointed out. I sure as hell don't with some of the servers where I work.

My bet is the server is gonna have another glitch and they wont be able to restart the server nodes due to something they didnt see...

So can we get stuff replaced that we lose as a result of this reboot? I lost 11 harvesters and not too happy about it :(

LOL I was doing the opposite . . decided to stay up and get some playing done tonight, like get some more missions in to continue building some standing, and I seem to be able to log in, I just have no agents availabe, nor do I have Any mail . . nor is there any chat channels, other then that all seems like normal, I can set skills I can fly . . maybe I should log in a miner and see if I can mine

Killing convoy in 0.0 belt -> 4 cruisers, 2 BS's and 3 Haulers resp -> server crashed! we lost all loot and convoy warped out
after few minutes: found Domination War General resp -> server restarted!!!
How can I play EVE without waste my time for connection problems????
