Having difficulty on the 2nd phase of this mission.
We are using 2 BS:
1 Raven HS- 6 Limos Cruise, 2 Heavy Nos.
MS- 2 Kinetic & 2 Thermal Hardners, Shield Amp and
Large Booster 2
LS- 5 PDU 2's and Ballistic Control Unit
1 Mega HS- 7 425mm Rails 2's, 1 Cruise Launcher
MS- 4 Cap Recharger 2's
LS- 5 Mag field Stabs, 1 RCU, 1 Power Cap Relay
The Mission warpgate puts us both with 15km of the Drones (8 Devastators, 4 Violater and 1 Strain Matriarch) so the Raven tanks but the sheild gets eaten away before the Mega can get any range. Help! Any other options you can think of?

Wrong hardeners, because the 2nd stage drones do heavy Thermal & EM , and small/medium amount of kinetic. Damage types can be found from: Here too.
Note, that warping out might still be necessary because they do alot of damage in very short time even with hardeners, i used 6 armor hardeners on geddon and still had to warp out twice.

Try and sit right ontop of one of the big drones; being so close will basically mean it'll miss every shot.
Get the mega to fit some shield transfers; it'll do reduced damage, but it'll help alot if it means the tanking raven will stay alive for longer.

Drop the kinetic and tank for EM on Raven. Fit AB instead of a therm hardner and head away from drones and you will easily outrun them. As soon as you get 20k + away they will not hit you, this way you should not even need to warp out once.

Precisely. I mean, I'm armor tanking my Mega, and these drones cannot even drop my unhardened shields...
