great to see that you decided to move to github. This simplifies community contributions dramatically.

great stuff!
however i think i found i bug since it seems that i can't update the skills of my char anymore. E.g medium drone op is set to not-injected and i can't change it via API update or even when i go over the char editor window. I press ok but it is not saved.
my workaround is to use the All 5 char preset. eve style bounties (done) dust boarding parties imagine there is war and everybody cloaks - join FW |

so i am using the same pyfa DB for over 2 years now and suspect that it might have some problems. (e.g i once got far too good tank values, after exporting the fit, removing it and importing it again it was fine).
Is there a procedure how to import everything into a fresh db?
backup to xml -> close pyfa -> delete db -> open pyfa -> import from xml... would this work? Are the char settings and keys also stored in the backup xml/db? eve style bounties (done) dust boarding parties imagine there is war and everybody cloaks - join FW |

the fit above should have close to 200dps cold using faction missiles, about 50dps are missing which looks to me as if a bonus wouldn't be applied.

here a feature request: it would be nice to be able to select prefit clones with all their implants per ship instead of fitting a clone for each of your fitting.
how i thought it could work from the user perspective: - add pod to the ship list so you can create pod fittings - now for all your other fittings you would see a dropdown menu under the implants tab where you can select which pod you want to use for that ship fitting
thanks for pyfa i use it a lot and it is very reliable. Having a tool with SISI data before the TQ release to test new stats is awesome.

regarding implants. I always imagined pods just as a regular ship with mods (implants). Maybe you could just add a pod as special ship type, make it fittable with implants, then let us select the pod via a combo box (listing all pod fittings) for each ship fitting.
I know that description is oversimplified and there is more to that, but it would have the advantage that you don't need more UI for managing clones, since it reuses stuff which is already there.
