This is a serious question, it's not intended as a troll or flame, I'm just wondering if they're still active somewhere. On the latest map, it says they're in Aridia shooting BoB -- is this accurate and, if yes, is there a purpose?

Yeppers, we're still around, having fun. Of the Bob I've encountered, most have been very honorable. We kill them, they kill us & even sometimes have good conversation. Currently Rona is recovering from a corp theft, which takes time. So yes, we're still around.
I know we're not as big as we used to be as an alliance, but the pilots who are still in, we do have the fire.

You sir are an hypocrit.
Dbp has asked a valid question without a hint of trolling. Yet you come to these forums to bait Dbp into a slagfest.
From watching these forums over the last few months I have seen nothing but you instigating flame fests and just basically annoying everyone.
Nobody has time for you and i would advise peeps just to ignore you so that you can go back under that rock from whence you came.

You sir are delusional.
If by trolling you mean countering BoBs' propaganda that they spew onto the forums then I suppose I may be guilty.
But I'll tell you the same thing I told the other fellow. Find a post where I was trolling and prove me wrong.
Until then you can take your opinion of what you think to be accurate and take a flying leap off a rolling doughnut.

It's a valid question imo.
One of the largest pvp forces in VC decided to pull out of VC.
I would think that the Corps, factions and alliances is exactly where information like that should be posted.
I'll happily start a new thread if people wish it, I just figured I'd ask a long standing member of celapoc direct.

xirt if u guys are down in Aridia we need to talk.... we arnt too far away(fountain) would be nice to fight together again.
@ DB, we find it hard to fit into an alliance, we are stubborn old farts that are set in our ways... looking at alliance chat and thinking where are these 60ppl? was very frustrating, i imagine most alliances are the same.
we will still be fighting in fountain, so leaving wasnt a way to make it easier, it is actually making it harder as we will be mostly on our own now.

Edited by: Dark Big on 17/11/2005 02:15:22 LoL... Imp was doomed right after the fall of jqa. when thay started leting in corps that had nothing but noob players and miners. There internal politics had problems right from the start. I had to mute my head set a lot on their ts from all the screaming back and forth. After seeing that things where going down hill I left. FA well thay just sucked.
Bob on the other hand... They can blob..... And thay have good internal politics and fleet commanders..... Did I say they can blob? and ya thay have the numbers to control huge amounts of space. The question is.. How long will bob last. It is now a fact that they are ONE of the biggest alliances out there. Which leaves them open to huge amounts of war declarations soon if not right now by corps looking for lots of targets. When you start getting huge amounts of people like that how do you keep them all happy and not BORED?

Actually, BoB really isnt that big. We only have three different corps you know. Both FA and IMP were much much larger when we attacked them. We have like 850 characters in the Alliance or something, so theres like 5 that are significantly larger then us. Our numbers have been fairly static for along time, growing just slightly over the past several months. For some odd reason people just don't seem to want to stay at war with us for long periods of time.
Given that theres only 3 real corps in BoB, there really isn't to much internal dissagreement about the direction of the alliance.

from my experince with bob yes they can control that much space althougt they do get a little streched at times there whole allaince is nealry pvp players so unless they were streched on all fronts they are capable of holding that space and more, its actually how suprising they can put together a fleet from delve to outer ring even if its ot the bigest fleeet at shor notice they can do it I don;t think they coudl strech much further north than outer ring without trouble though but there is regions in the southI bet they cold hold easily.

Originally by: Sochin Actually, BoB really isnt that big. We only have three different corps you know. Both FA and IMP were much much larger when we attacked them. We have like 850 characters in the Alliance or something, so theres like 5 that are significantly larger then us. Our numbers have been fairly static for along time, growing just slightly over the past several months. For some odd reason people just don't seem to want to stay at war with us for long periods of time.
woops mybe i should do my home work some more on your allience. Any ways you say you have 850 players in your allience i have no clue how meny are active at any time. BUT if only 1/4 of them are on at any time thats a lot of players. HMM this is what i am trying to say. sence you are not as big as i was thinking, Can you really control that much space?
As for imp and FA....... I was told thay just did not really fight much really. i think thay just kinda packed up and moved out of the way
from my experince with bob yes they can control that much space althougt they do get a little streched at times there whole allaince is nealry pvp players so unless they were streched on all fronts they are capable of holding that space and more, its actually how suprising they can put together a fleet from delve to outer ring even if its ot the bigest fleeet at shor notice they can do it I don;t think they coudl strech much further north than outer ring without trouble though but there is regions in the southI bet they cold hold easily.
With sentences:
From Sableye's experience with BoB, they are capable of controlling that much space. Occassionally they get streched out abit, but the entire alliance is made up of hardcore pvpers so its not usually a problem. He is always suprised how fast BoB can put together and move a fleet from Delve to Outer Ring, even very large fleets on extremel short notice. In Sableye's opinion, BoB could not strech much further then OR without some difficulty, but he thinks BoB could conquer some of the southern regions quite easily.

Sorry, to disturb you, but just noticed your corp name and we have this war dec from you and I don't fully understand why, because we didn't know a single char of your corp. Not that it really matters, but I'm a curious person, you know
