Hi all,
So I'm at a relic site and have a spiffy survey scanner, which I am told should allow me to see inside the cans.
So I've locked on to the can...hit the scanner...and nothing. Just an empty window.
So I try unlocking the can and just scan the "general area" if that's even possible.
Still nothing.
So I say forget it and just hack the thing, loot spews out, and I end up with a whopping 20k in loot.
Granted, I'm in a .5 system so that may be the answer for that.
But can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong with the scanner? |

I'm sorry I mistyped.
I am using a Type E Cargo Identifier. So I guess I am using a cargo scanner.
Still can't get it to show anything. |

Target can. Scan....nothing its a blank window.
do minigame...win...loot spews out. Get garbage. |

That probably means someone else took the good cans and left the ones with stuff they didn't want. You're finding the empties? |

I don't think so because the garbage should still show up on a scan, shouldn't it?

Hydrogen batteries, scrap metal, reports, etc are in all explore containers, but do not show up on a cargo scan. |

Not the case, when the site 'spews the loot' it spits it all out both good and bad.
