I just sent an evemail to each tournament captain with a request for information in preparation for opening Duality. For the one team that we don't have a registered captain for, we sent it to the executor corp CEO.
Check your mails and reply to me when you get a chance, and please read the formatting instructions carefully.

Two answer publicly two questions I've gotten so far: Each assigned system will have a seeded market, cloning and repair services. So no need for difficult logistics. The captain character will be given the ability to change the password for the system at will.

I hope there will be strong consequences for buying all the ships in someone's testing system to, for example, ruin a busy weekend for someone prior to the tournament. Even if it's a ban on a single character, that might be worth it for some people to totally disrupt a team's testing ~
It would also be nice if you could eliminate/disable remote market data and APIs, i.e. you should not be able to scrap time history market data from someone's testing system.

I think it's the arena bubble that would be most beneficial for the teams - to have a clear visual boundary for the practice fights. The beacons then just add the authenticity to warp-in vectors (as long as their position is the same like in the real arena system).

also thought of a jetcan at first. But: 1. Authentic warp-in vectors 2. Excludes possibility of finding out "I don't have beacons in my overview" 2 minutes before the fight 3. Looks and feels..well, again authentic.
So yeah, it is not a big problem if that is not done, but still if that's not a big problem - would be just great (seems like I'm not the only one liking the idea) |

as first timers to the tourne, among many first timers, i can say that authentic beacon setup would be helpful, but not at the expense of delaying the duality release.
If we could get them added at a later date tho i wouldnt complain :P |

Just to satisfy my own paranoia, am I correct in assuming that if we drop corp on duality to form an alt corp and keep people with alts in RvB (that is everyone) from looking up our killmails that we won't be making ourselves unable to log on afterwards? (ie. as long as we're in RvB on TQ, does it matter that we form an alt corp on duality?) |

I know the markets are seeded but buying so much stuff across all people is getting very time consuming. Is there a way to free up office rentals for stations that are full/not configured to allow office rentals?
If that would be too resource intensive, or make your lives any harder than a single click, by all means, disregard my request :)

count yourself lucky tbh.
We have a problem on Sisi where Urine Alliance CEO and team captain D0nniedark0 won't tell anybody where our practice system is or the password to get in. His dedication to trolling is admirable, but means we've got no setups and the three of us who actually want to do the tournament can't practice. gf
Last thing i heard our backup plan is to bring a fleet of industrials with fireworks launchers and claim we weren't taking it seriously all along. :/ |

So, what's up with the module shennanigans going around on Duality today? Syndicate people have been experiencing a number of problems, including:
* Modules being activated, and then not turning off (i.e., staying red for like a minute or two) * Clicking a module and not having it activate * Drones being told to attack a target, only to have them burn over, shoot a few times, and then orbit the target passively
Any idea what's causing this, or when it'll be fixed? Glory |
