You should have more than one video up before you begin opening threads pilot.
I would also recommend this amazing guide made by some Hungarian pr0s.
If you really want to learn what's what you would do yourself a favor and read this too. |

Not to just bust your stones or anything but these types of guides are pretty redundant. If you want to do a video guide do one for the new hacking sites/mini-games and tags4sec. Work on your sound and script because right now I couldn't make it through the first couple minutes....consider letting someone else read it.

Oh my lord, I just looked a the bounties part...just stop making guides and do a blog you don't understand how 3/4 of the stuff works. This is also more of a recruitment ad then guides anyway and should be shitcanned by the mods.
New people should watch these to see what a high sec corp looks like that you DON'T want to join.
I do agree with the part of making sure your setup is correct.

Thanks for watching the free video guides I worked hard on. BTW bounty part was pretty far in there.
Anyways, are you going to give me the money to buy a new setup? A setup I need is over $800. So if you want to pay for it, I believe a donation button is still up on my TechReviewsAndHelp.com site. If not, then let me know. Or better yet, you can make some videos for the new players. Just a warning, it takes well over 2 to 3 hours to make 1 video. The time is mostly spent in editing the video, and making sure everything is lined up.
The guides may seem redundant to you because YOU'RE NOT A ROOKIE. As the intro video says, these guides will be for new players and people who are looking into playing the game. |

Don't take it as a personal attack
But over 99% of what you covered has been covered already by many many other guide and videos. Hence why many older players (including myself) don't even bother making new ones. Why waste time when you already have plenty of things for it.
And I know how much time you have to put into a video. I have done it before, but the key thing to making a good video, specially a "tutorial" is proper setup.
The sound from your microphone isn't of the best quality, which affects the video itself.

Thanks.
1 of the reasons why I am making these guides is because I can't find any other video guides on most of what I'm covering. Also, I've been getting a lot of questions on these topics I'm covering. Anyways, with making my own guides, I'm able to control the SEO of the videos. That away, people can hopefully find them.

BTW I fast forwarded to the bounty part because it's one of the newer things without much info. I got to the part where you say it's broken and have no clue about the mechanic or how it used to work. I don't make guides because I can link a guide to almost anything in EVE that is much higher quality than I could produce.
Nice try but these are unwatchable, obsolete or just flat out bad information. |

I told everyone how it worked. You take out x person, and you get whatever the value of what is destroyed (giving their bounty covers it). I also explained how we use to have the ability to get the full amount, and by changing that it broke the bounty system for bounty hunters. I didn't get into too much detail into this because that system is long gone.
Now here is the thing. You obviously haven't trolled all the threads you go too, but you are a troll. The reason why I know this is because your recent post history. Most of your post doesn't add anything to the convo or it's a complete lie. On top of that, you seem to go between general and Q&A only.
I am not replying back to any more of your comments unless if you start telling the truth, and start adding useful info in the thread.

You're somewhat right. But, some of it is out of date giving the recent updates. Also, people are still having a hard time finding anything (including his videos). A fix to do is fixing the SEO side of the videos. But, I can't control his videos.
After I get a few more videos up, I'm going to work on the SEO side of my videos. That away it's easier for people to find what they are looking for in 1 search almost anywhere. |

You just typed out how bad your understanding of the bounty system past and present is.
Here's some info on bounties so you can go mouth breathe an edit:
The bounty payout is roughly 20% of the value of all destroyed objects (ships, modules, cargo, implants), otherwise known as "Pend Insurance Estimate" on kill reports. - wikipage
Bounties were also broken as hell before the change and were a gift to whoever you put it on. Anyone familiar with that mechanic knows that.
Here's a link on how bounties work and one way to collect them with an AWOX (aka killing corp members which is legal in high sec) https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=179454 |

The reason why I'm replying is to tell you thank you on the 20%. I corrected my innocent mistake, and thanks for pointing that out. But, I'm still saying you're a troll because you did 2 things a troll does. Please for the love of what is holy explain how your brain came up with the stupid idea that the old bount system wasnt broken and the new one is. Getting paid based on what you kill is broken and having collected a lot of bounty and then pod kill yourself with an alt isn't. You must be a joke.

I never said the bounty system wasn't broken before. In the video I was pointing out there really is no more bounty hunters any more because the bounty system is now broken for them. I also pointed out I'm not making a history lesson in my current guides. There is no point.
Anyways, of course other videos on YouTube is going to be better. I never said mine was the best. Hell, real big time film studios has YouTube videos. I doubt anyone can really be compared to that. So my question about the quality thing is the following. And? |
