It was Taranis vs Jaguar,Cormorant,Raptor and catalyst..
When i killed 2 of you it was all worth it..
No matter what ship i attack a MC in, backup is around the corner..Gotta respect that..Good teamwork is what i call it..
MC have always looked down on BYDI..Calling us wannabe mercs and pirates..
BYDI - MC = 58-87
Aint bad for a bunch of wannabe pilots..
The difference between BYDI and MC gives results in losses..
If we fly a ceptor and see 3 other ceptors spread all over we attack the closest one to score a kill..
A MC pilot in the same situation runs to his backup..
He does the smart thing, yes...But who had fun?
I cant see any fun in jumping in 5 heavy assaults to kill a battlecruiser..
You are just fighting to promote the MC leaders..
try to fight for yourself sometime..Score a "impossible" kill and sit there afterwards thinking wtf i pwn..
I dont say MC are bad..They are good at what they do..i just dont get any respect for the pilots as individuals..
But got to admit, Battle Angels is the best thing that have happened to MC..
Good pilots, Got their feet on the ground..Remind me of BYDI..

Ugluuk, you can think as you will, but lack of communication between our organizations is probably the reason for most of these issues.
As for our fighting styles, don't be so quick to judge. We've got our own share of suicidal lunatics in the MC as well. Granted, most of them are in FRICK (Eye, Farjung, Danks, etc...) because those are some crazy MF's... 
Like I said in an earlier post, there are a lot of times when an MC pilot doesn't "run" for back up or even expect it; the rest of the pack just shows up for the party on instinct. That kind of thing just happens when you have 30-40 hungry pilots swarming around looking for something to sink thier teeth into. Hell, I had a nice 1 on 1 against a KIA Crow going yesterday until these kill mail *****s rushed in to "save me".  
As with anything, perception shapes a lot of opinions about other people in this game and it's not always correct. I mean... I hated CA back in the day yet Trooper (who was a lame Zoner/Supremacy dog) was one of the first people we let into BDCI when we opened our doors.
Anyway... I'm rambling now. Later, man.

Be seein you Ugluuk, had a few good fights with you and your guys back during the BYDI-FLA war.
One of the best interceptor 1v1's I ever had was against Ugluuk, now if memory serves you were something like 30km from Yulai DED X in a Raptor and I was in a Stiletto, got you scrambled, webbed and jammed (although my EW skills are awful so you were probably only jammed about 1/4th of the time) and I was eating through your armour with my 125mm pea-shooters, then Jack warps in in his Eagle and takes you out ...gahhh I swear I'd have had you then hehe  ...I don't know why exactly I just really enjoyed and have always remembered that particular fight. |
